Big rooms and comfortable

The accommodation at Outram26 is spread over two houses, we were in 23 which is still undergoing redevelopment by the looks of it.The downstairs room was clean and bright with extras plenty of tea and coffee, free WiFi, TV. The room has been redecorated, comfortable bed and spare ‘put me up’ the shared bathrooms were all fine, there was a shared large kitchen that we didn’t use but it looked clean and well stocked. To be honest this seemed more like a contractors type of room away from home, for one night stay it was fine for a budget stay for three of us. Mary on the phone was very friendly as was the man that met us and showed us round the accommodation
It wasn’t finished in terms of decoration, the stairs up to one of the shared toilets bathroom had no carpet on them nor painted it remaining wooden (I wouldn’t suggest it stays like this) at 0530 when the contractors (that is an assumption in my part) were getting ready to go out to work it was very loud on the stairs both their shoes and the dogs nails (it’s pet friendly which we knew) The area isn’t one of the nicest areas but for a budget stay for one night it was fine and we just got uber into Norton. Just make sure you research the area so you are informed - we had no issues and felt safe- we literally only needed a bed for the night. Parking could be a challenge as it’s all street parking we had a big car and managed to find one spot with there of the man greeting us

good price and free on street parking outside.
Mary is lovely and gave me a nice tour showed me where everything was and how to work everything.
the room was clean and smelt fresh it had a large TV with a fire stick signed in to Disney plus and Netflix which was a very welcome unexpected bonus.
there was tea and coffee facilities in the room although I didn’t use this it was a nice touch and also there was a chocolate on each pillow on arrival.
Mary answered any question and message I had very prompt and went above and beyond.
the property is currently being renovated and there was hammering and drilling both late at night and early in the morning which kept me awake.
the area is a little rough and when I was out at the car I was approached by two men in there 20s with there face covered which was intimidating. I had a very off putting feeling when I left the property for any reason but I felt fine when inside.
