We stayed in a lodge surrounded by a beautiful garden with sea view. Only 2 minutes walk to the beach where we watched beautiful sunset, local kids playing in the evening, had our meal at the wurang.
We had a snorkelling and fishing day trip with the owner’s own boat. It was great to see corals , colourful fish. Swimming with turtles was a bonus. The owner cooked a wonderful meal for us in the evening after fishing. The breakfast was simple but well presented. Nice coffee. They also sells local product like vanilla, cashew nuts with a very good price. The room are clean, comfortable. Overall, we had a great experience staying in Bale Jukung cottage. The owner and their team are very kind, friendly.

Beautifully designed wooden homes surrounded by gardens! I took so much joy in finding all the animals that were living with us each morning.

The staff are nice and breakfast is good.
I wasn’t expecting the mattresses to be on the floor or the toilet to be a walk outside so I think the pictures are a bit misleading (if you book the twin room!) I was also bitten by mosquitoes really badly here so a net would be of help!
