Very clean and spacious and excellent location for transport into Hamburg

Overall, the apartment is very clean (except for cobwebs in some corners), well-equipped and well-heated. It has a very good location. The wi-fi is also very good. The metro station is just 2 minutes away, and it takes about 10–15 minutes to get to the city center. There are a Penny supermarket and a bakery right in the building. There is also a kebab shop nearby. The apartment is on the 4th floor and there is no elevator (this wasn't an issue for us). With the windows closed, you cannot hear the noise from the boulevard. The key was in a lockbox with a code next to the front door; we received the code via email.
There is a very unpleasant smell coming from the kitchen sink drain. Please use some kind of cleaning agent to eliminate it. The windowsills facing the boulevard are covered in pigeon droppings and feathers, which makes the windows unusable. Please install some kind of deterrents (spikes) to stop birds from landing there. The windows were also dirty.

1_noise from construction of new building right next to living room windows = wake-up at 7am every week day
2_high floor on level 4 was very tuff to climb with heavy luggages and for small kids
3_no supplies available in kitchen i.e. salt. pepper. soap… etc. they remove everything left by previous tenant.
