We had a fantastic stay. The location was incredible - nice jogging location right from the house, short drive to great hikes and beaches, and short trip into Waikiki (although we liked having a place to stay away from that crowded area). Scott was very responsive throughout and the house was perfect - plenty of space for everyone to sleep and spend time together (including den area kids slept in), laundry, etc. It is on the highway and pulling in off the highway takes caution the first time, but this didn’t bother us at all - amazing view of the water from the windows.

The property was spacious, clean, well stocked and convenient location. It is on a very busy 6 lane highway road that is very loud. However, that is really the only negative aspect. Everything else was outstanding.

This home was perfect for our family of 6. The living space was comfortable and fun to hang out in. The kitchen is well stocked and easy to work in. The only drawback is the highway noise at times is a little loud, but wasn’t really an issue. The hosts communicate well.

We had a great time staying at this property during our time on Oahu. The house was very spacious for our group of four. The fully-equipped kitchen and beach accessories (towels, chairs, etc.) were also appreciated. The location was very convenient and communication with the host was easy. We hope to come back some day!

We visited Oahu from Utah for 10 days. Scott's home was a nice place to come hang with our family, cook meals together and enjoy the outside patio. He was professional throughout the process and accommodated our needs.

Nice 3 bedroom plus den. Beautiful view of ocean and mountains in the distance. Well equipped kitchen with two fridges! Biggie board, snorkel gear, beach chairs, cooler, beach towels all supplied on site. Far enough away from hussle and bussle of Waikiki, close enough to stores, restaurants, beaches and parks. This one is worth a return trip to the same house. Thanks for sharing your home with us.

Three of us stayed at the apartment, which was very clean, tidy, and with more amenities that we needed! The location is perfect for traveling around the island, and the shops are in close proximity for everything required. A previous poster seemed to find issue with the traffic, which we found not to be an issue. We all slept soundly every night!
All in all, a lovely location, a lovely apartment, and we'd happily book it again.

Location of this property is fabulous... close to a bunch of restaurants, beaches, etc. It is on a major highway, but that is definitely advertised. We were willing to overlook the volume for a prime location!
The property could use a little bit more upkeep in terms of cleanliness. There was a decent amount of dust on window sills, holes underneath the carpet, and stains on some of the sheets.
Kitchen was well stocked for basic cooking needs, and a spacious area for gathering. The main living room could use some lamps as we spent many nights using that space!
Owner/manager was super nice and responsive!

Road noise: road noise is constant 50 decibels inside house, louder at times when cars race on adjacent road, making conversation inside frustrating and sleep difficult.
worn interior: photos show color coordinated decor and light filled interior —photos don’t show banged up trim, chipped tiles, small bedrooms, and the rented space is actually the middle of three house levels.
fluorescent tube lighting: in dining room/kitchen area… looking at tubes in the bar area :(
dirty beds: blood stain on one bedspread and tried to use sleeper sofa but promptly closed it up when saw garbage, photos, wrappers and obvious use but not cleaned.
Futon in Zen room is dense and pretty hard.
See through/think curtains: makes every room allow sunlight in at sunrise—can’t sleep much past 6am. No blackout curtains, living room curtains barely meet in middle, are see through to watch cars on road in front of house.
Bugs & rust: in main bathroom, appeared floor corners not cleaned in a while, same with carpet edges & corners.
Main bath faucet dripped upon arrival and the duration.
Shared space was nice with family.
Two refrigerators was nice, as was coffee maker, blender, oven, and dishwasher.
Cooler was great to use on outings.
Water pressure excellent in both showers.
Neighbor was nice to swap parking spot since the carport parking is boxed in with cement walls on three sides (making parking and backing up difficult).
We had a good time, too busy to worry.

I rented this place with my family of 6 and 2 kids. It was the perfect space. I loved the open concept and U-Shaped island. The rooms are a little small, but the rest of the living space makes it worth it. There were also lots of beach equipment you can bring with you!
Overall it was a nice experience.

Our daughters wanted to surf the easier beaches of Honolulu and could easily drive without issues each day. My husband and I could safely cycle from the house to the beautiful eastern side of the island. It was also an easy drive to the North Shore. House is very comfortable with nice view but is on a busy street. The walkable beach not great but for an evening dip - was fine. We had a great time. .

We booked this home to stay in with our extended family for our destination wedding. We had great barbecues and lots of space! Check in process was super easy and hassle free.

The home was nice and included everything we needed. It’s up a long driveway and there are many stairs. My biggest complaint is that the photo on listing was not taken from the house; in reality it has a partial ocean view in the distance. It’s also on a busy highway so there was a lot of traffic noise.

Great house, close to beaches, food, hiking but far enough away from touristy Waikiki to feel like one of the locals. House was well stocked, open, clean. They had beach gear we could borrow which was wonderful. Absolutely will be back. Great communication with owner!

The view from the house is amazing! We throughly enjoyed our morning coffee and watching the sun rise.
We had plenty of space and felt at home during our stay.
We did have a few hiccups. The main bathroom shower head would fall multiple times during a shower. No ledge or shower stool made it tricky when shaving your legs.
The coffee filters did not fit the coffee maker. We made it work.
We did meet the owners of the home who made us feel especially welcome!

The property was exactly as we expected and as it was described. The location is perfect for accessing everything you want throughout the island, being close enough to quickly access Honolulu and Waikiki as well as the north and east sides of the island. Scott was incredibly responsive to all of our questions and requests. You couldn’t ask for a better place to stay!

The house is nice, spacious and stocked with items you most likely need away from home. The owner was very helpful! It located next to the main road. It was a bit traffic noise for us. Entrance and exit from the highway were a challenge for the 7 Passengers SUV.

The house was perfect for our family, nice and roomy! There was also some basic items you need, that you forget about buying to start you until you go to the store. Scott was amazing and very accommodating! If you plan to go to Hawaii with your family, I highly recommend this property! Everything is close- the beach, Costco, the grocery store and restaurants!

This house was so great! The view is phenomenal. It was stocked with everything g you can imagine. It is super spacious and comfortable. Communication was great. Location is great. It’s right off a main road, but with AC and windows flossed, there’s no noise. Would highly recommend. We had a great stay…8 adults (four couples) and an infant.

Spent an incredible week on Oahu in a home that couldn’t have been a more welcome retreat from days spent at the beach (a couple within walking distance, several more with much better conditions within a 15-minute drive) or feasting on Hawaiian specialties (just down the street from a Leonard’s malasada truck and a short 20-minute drive to all Waikiki has to offer).
Every room comes equipped with an individual A/C unit to cater to the needs of Individual occupants. The great room was large enough to accommodate our party of eight for games or a movie. There was even room for parking for two vehicles.
The owner, Scott, was gracious and accommodating. Even calling us midway through the visit to check in on our stay and what we’ve enjoyed and to thank us for bearing with a painter who’s truck was in the driveway.
While conveniently located, the property is on a main road. And while every room comes equipped with white noise machines, sometimes an ambulance or obnoxious muffler would wake up one or two sleepers. All things considered, it was a minor inconvenience and did not detract in any way from our overall stay.

Outstanding support by host for all our needs!!!
We have been renting on VRBO and AirB&B for years, and actually host property ourselves, but have NEVER experienced the kind of guest support that we received from Scott and those around him this week! We (unintentionally) were a bit high maintenance due to a personal family celebration event taking place while we were here, but they accommodated every request with grace and creative solutions… to ensure we were able to make it to our event in high style!!!
One thing to note…. For those with family members who may be on the spectrum or have special needs with sound sensory sensitivities, the close proximity to a very busy (and loud) road may cause some additional planning to be required. The house has sound machines in the 3 front bedrooms, but our little guy is so sensitive to sound that even the noise of the sound machine caused him not to sleep for the first few nights. There is a back bedroom that can be used for adults or older children, but for our little guy- his additional needs require us to keep him in close physical proximity to us, so that wasn’t an option. It’s not something insurmountable, just something to plan for ahead of time….
All in all, it was a fantastic experience and we all agreed it was the best vacation our family has had!!

We had an amazing family experience and this home was all we hoped it would be; location, location, location and most importantly - a HOME we could operate from and from where we comfortable staying. This home was clean, well maintained and just perfect!!! We would ABSOLUTELY stay here again.
