María José was, without question, the most thoughtful and attentive host I’ve ever had. She went well beyond what was expected to make sure we had everything we needed — greeting us on arrival, helping us find the best way into the village so we could reach the house easily, and even doing some shopping for us. As it was New Year’s Day and everything was closed, she drove 4 km to get us basic essentials like bread, milk and eggs. She also shared excellent recommendations on things to do and local restaurants, which made a real difference to our stay.
The house itself is stunning: beautifully maintained, in a truly unique location, and with breathtaking views of the Picos de Europa.
Nothing, it was a great place in a great location with an amazing host.
