Monastero di Cortona Hotel & Spa

My stay at Monastero di Cortona was truly exceptional. The hotel is beautiful, peaceful and perfect for relaxation, and I genuinely wished I could have stayed longer. A very special thank you to Mr. Carmena, the Manager, Mr. Alessandro, and Eleonora at the Front Desk for their wonderful hospitality, professionalism and genuine care. The dining experience was unforgettable. Alessandro and the chef took me on a wonderful journey through the flavors of Tuscany, and I can still remember the taste of the incredible dishes. The spa was equally wonderful — beautiful, peaceful and an exceptional experience. Everything about my stay was memorable, and I will definitely return. Highly recommended!

The hotel carried an important sense of history, which made our stay truly special. The breakfast was very nice, and it was a treat to eat outside. For the most part, the staff was very helpful, especially in the breakfast room and the workers at the front desk.

The shower in the room was tiny and there could have been more soap provided.

The quality and exceptional level of service, staff and fabulous building.

The price of the view is access to its elevated position.

From the moment I arrived, the staff delivered exceptional service, going above and beyond to ensure every detail of my stay was perfect. The amenities were first-class, with the pool and spa providing a truly relaxing and luxurious experience. The dining exceeded every expectation—the food was exquisite, and the chicken Caesar salad was, without question, the best I’ve ever had. I can’t wait to return.

The only drawback during my stay was the noise from housekeeping while the rooms beside mine were being serviced. The activity in the hallway was quite noticeable and occasionally disrupted the otherwise peaceful atmosphere.
