Where do I even begin? We travel a lot, and I can honestly say this is the best place we have ever stayed.
The property is breathtaking. Every room, every piece of furniture, every corner of the garden has been put together with so much love and care.
But what made our stay truly unforgettable were Michael and Gilles. They are two of the warmest, most genuine and welcoming hosts we’ve ever met. From the moment we arrived, they made us feel completely at home. Their kindness, generosity and sense of humour totally made the experience.
Our two nights here ended up being the highlight of our entire trip through Normandy. Long after we’ve forgotten the names of restaurants or museums, I know we’ll still be talking about Le Clos de la Croix.
Thank you Gilles and Michael for creating somewhere so special and for your beautiful hospitality. We can’t wait to come back!!

It was like stepping back it time. The vintage 1750 house thrilled us. By far the greatest part of the experience was Gilles and Michael. They were the very best of hosts, funny, cheerful, enthusiastic and they fixed a wonderful breakfast!
