Great location on the river with a short flat walk to the main square.

Unique location on the river. Room had 4 bunkbeds but I was there on my own. No food on site but there is a communal fridge. Good wi-fi.
Had to unplug the heater/dehumidifier to charge devices

Booked a water view but because there is a university rowing boat 🚣 moored alongside the whole of the hostel, it bumps and bangs against the side as the water moves, creating a constant knocking sound, as there was a spare room on the other side of the boat, the road side, staff were helpful and I was able to move there. It was more peaceful as there was only the tram line noise and the traffic noise and not the banging. My husband had a room on the water side but he had the middle of the boat and not the head of the boat by his window so less banging but he had the people collecting the university boat, talking and laughing by his head at 7am. He had the double room and the bed was fine but at 5 feet 6 inches tall, my knees hurt from being crunched in the short bunk bed, it was fine for my son though.
