The staff was phenomenal Samantha, Sarah & Sebastian. They were super helpful about the area booking during lessons,

The layout of the rooms were unlike no other property in the area w/ lush trees

Some rooms are outdated. They are in the process of remodeling room by room

very nice hotel, just what we needed

great location, nice house… really enjoyed the monkeys and other animals in the garden. lovely pool!!

the town in itself is a little too touristy for my taste — we were there to dive (scuba course for daughter and Freediving for me > which was an excellent experience!!)

Terrible beds, great staff and location.

The staff was amazing! Very friendly and knew the area very well. Also the location is great. Easily walkable to everywhere. Hammocks outside each room was a really nice touch.

Rooms we definitely sub par. Dated and often had bugs. I get that it's costa rica and ants will get everywhere, but I usually hope not in my room daily. Also very small rooms.....no dresser, and only one small nightstand. Bed was likely the least comfortable bed we have ever slept on. That said, tamarindo is expensive, so we still give it a "fair" rating just based on local pricing.

Highly recommend this place!

Location is great, staff were all so helpful- especially when I needed to go to to the clinic. Laundry service was great and we could leave our bags with them before check-in. We loved the setup of the place with all rooms facing the pool with hammock and table and chairs.

Wish it had a few more shelves for belongings. There are ants and other bugs that find their way inside, though I didn’t mind so much because I loved having shade trees about to keep the air cool and vibe pleasant / a bit private. Rather have the trees than 0 bugs and I know they come together.

Lovely quiet spot in the centre of town

The villas are perfectly located for a trip to Tamarindo. There’s enough off street parking for about half of the villas but we never struggled for a space, you can also park on the street free if all of the spaces are taken. There is a well equipped shared kitchen with free filter coffee available at all times. Each room has a large fridge for you to store drinks / snacks in. The room is basic but has comfortable beds and warm showers. Staff are super helpful, especially Sebastian.

We found a lot of small bugs in our room which didn’t bother us too much but would bother some people. The sun loungers around the pool are quite old and dirty and the pool itself was often full of leaves due to the beautiful nature surroundings. Again, wasn’t an issue for us as we were there to spend time at the beach.

simple accommodation in a perfect location

Kindly staff! they are very friendly and ready to help. Location is excellent, perfect! very close to the Tamarindo beach, supermarket, restaurants and bars. You can do everything by walking.

The hotel needs a renovation, everything is very old. Some patches and visible pipes. Hard mattress. Anyway, a feeling that it is old and in need of repairs. Towels and sheets were also very used.

the girl and guy in reception were amazing and went out of their way to make us comfortable.

the towels smelled a bit damp but they changed them straight away so no problem.

Enjoying busy Tamarindo in the best possible way

Tamarindo is said to be overcrowded- mhm, yes I can imagine that in winter, however this property is a little of the mainstreet with a super nice garden … hummingbirds, lizard … feels like little garden eden hanging out in your privat hammock watching the animals overlocking the pool. Staff is super nice and helpful - Thomas and his crew - answering all questions and supporting with anything. We received an upgrade on arrival so we would have two double rooms right next to each other.

Simple, well-maintained villa in a great spot.

Great location for restaurants, night life, and beach access. Clean, spacious rooms. Good A/C, which matters in this part of the world. You can find newer, fancier accommodations, but if you don't need the Wyndham or Diria, this is a great option.

It's a nice pool layout. For some reason, I'm absolute mosquito bait. They love me, and this place has quite a few from the lush surroundings. If you're like me, you'll need bug spray poolside or in your hammock.

Beautiful spot in a great location

Hearing the howler monkeys outside the room was pretty cool.

The staff were great! Especially the fellow working the security night shift, who helped out with a 'bug situation ' 😂 The website doesn't do it justice, the setting is beautiful 😍 and a 5 minute walk to the beach!

Very close to the beach. Pool nice for baby, squirrels everywhere. Fridge in the room. Option to use shared kitchen facilities. Private car parking in the closed yard. Private bathroom.

Noisy. Hostel feeling in any room, no privacy.

Lovely stay

Lovely room overlooking the nice pool. Very close to restaurants, the beach etc. Shower warm, unusual for Costa Rica! Useful little shared kitchen. Heard and saw howler monkeys in the garden! Plenty of parking. Nice patio in front of room with table and chairs. Helpful staff.

Hammock on patio uncomfortable. Very minor point!
