You will be in the seventeenth-century historic center of Praiano, a few steps from a restaurant and a grocery store. You will find a number of restaurants, shops at 700 meters (770 yards), the stop for the Flavio Gioia bus interno Praiano line a few meters (feet) away and the closest beach (Spiaggia della Gavitella) at 1.5 km (roughly 1 mile) including 400 stairway steps (other beaches with less steps to climb are also available in the area). Casa Piersilvia A is located on the first floor of a two story building. You will reach it from the street level going up a stairway which consists of approximately 14 steps. You will not need a car to stay at Casa Piersilvia A. If you do have one, you will be able to park it free of charge or for a fee, along the public roads (the actual distance might vary depending on the availability of parking spaces) or in a public parking lot (being the lot a public one, parking spaces can not be reserved). Casa Piersilvia A, B and C are three apartments witch are part of a small building located on the top of the characteristic village of Praiano, from where you will enjoy an enchanting view of the Amalfi Coast. This village is well known for its slow life style of its inhabitants and for he friendly atmosphere of its restaurants and cafes. Casa Piersilvia is a few steps from the main tourist attractions, such as Amalfi, Positano, Capri, Sorrento, Pompeii, Paestum and many others... Trekking lovers will find there the ideal place for their mountain itineraries on the peaks of the Amalfi Coast. The most important is the Path of the Gods from where you will face breathtaking panoramas and reach ancient hamlets and convents nearby. Terrace The terrace is 4 square meters (43 square feet) large. It is partly shaded by a porch. It is equipped with a table and chairs. From the terrace you will enjoy an enchanting view of the sea. Please kindly note. The rental price includes: electricity; linens; towels. To be paid at the property:final cleaning EUR 50.00.Available for a fee, if desired:heating (when needed) EUR 15.00/day. Tourist tax, paid locally: From March 1 to November 3: EUR 1.50 per person per night for the first 7 nights. Guests aged under 10 are exempt. Refundable security deposit paid cash upon arrival: EUR 150 (it is returned to you at check-out). Living Room The furnishings of the living room are simple and comfortable. The furnishings include a sofa and a divan bed for one guest. In the living room you will also find a cooking area. The kitchenette is equipped with a three-burner gas cooker, an electric oven, a small refrigerator with freezer and an Italian-style coffee-maker. The dining table can accommodate four guests. In this room you will find a television (local channels). From the living room you will be able to enter the terrace with a view of the sea and of the coastline through a French door. Bedroom with en-suite bathroom You will be able to enter the bedroom from the living room. The furnishings are cozy and comfortable. The room has a matrimonial bed (160 cm/62 inches, wider than a queen-size bed). The room has a window with a view of the sea and of the coastline. The bedroom is equipped with an air conditioning/heating unit. This bedroom has an en-suite bathroom, equipped with a washbasin, a toilet, a fully enclosed shower and a hairdryer. Here you will also find a washing machine. Please kindly note. The rental price includes: electricity; linens; towels. We had a lovely time at Casa Piersilvia A
We had a lovely time at Casa Piersilvia A. It is situated high up from the main town of Praiano. The views are stunning looking towards Amalfi on one side and Capri and Positano on the other. The road to Praiano is a pleasant downhill walk.
It is very much a local community both living and working here. So, some noise is to be expected. This did not spoil our stay. We loved living and experiencing true Italian life. The locals were very friendly and helpful.
The owner was very helpful and willing to help with any questions.
Keep up the good work. Summer In Italy is an excellent organisation.

I stayed at Casa Piersilvia A for one week, from May 3rd to May 10th. The apartment was spotless and well equipped. The view from the apartment was absolutely stunning. It is situated on a quiet Piazza which was lovely.
Was lovely to have a kettle to make tea! I travel to Italy alone once or twice a year and one thing I would suggest is a radio in the apartment. I have never had one anywhere in Italy. I brought my own but it would be nice not to have to pack one in my luggage!!
I would love to go back again and I would highly recommend this apartment if you want a beautiful quiet base to explore the area.

The bus service between Praiano and Positano is very good and on time. Only about 20 meters from the apartment. To catch a Sita bus is also very easy as you take the orange bus (Praiano) to the Sita stop. We had a rented car and used it only once. The buses were very convenient.
There is a small supermarket just below the apartment where we bought all our groceries. Small, but she had everything we needed and the prices were right.
