This Hotel is an absolute gem. It is the archetype French HOTEL in a beautiful old French Village. The food was fantastic. The staff friendly and helpful.
The building is very old, but inside the decoration and cleanliness was immaculate. I stayed in room number one which was partially in the Stone Tower.

We have stayed here once before when the kids were much smaller but now the kids are 16. 14 and 12 and we were heading south so thought we’d stay again. There’s a little apartment we take and it’s perfect! There’s a wonderful evening meal on the shaded terrace with terrific french food. There’s the walk round the beautiful and historic village afterwards. There’s the easy parking on the road opposite.
It is a great stop off and always leaves you wanting more.
We also happened to be staying on a Monday night so went off to the market at Massiac on Tuesday morning and picked up great quality fruit, veg, milk, meat etc for the rest of our trip. That was really fun.
Our French is (sadly) terrible but we are forced to have a go which is good for all of us.
Nothing - it all worked really well for us.

In the centre of a gorgeous medieval village.
Lots of character

Quite tired and shabby. Could do with a bit of a spruce up.
