Breakfast was not being served.
The young man who changed the light bulb and brought us extra pillows was very polite , friendly and hellful
No hair dryer
No breakfast.
Noisy due to party downstairs

The staff were extremely friendly and accommodating, including lending me an umbrella due to the crazy rain I was not prepared for!! The room was small but clean and bed was comfortable.
My only complaint was the signal and wifi. I booked this room due to a summer exam at the local university so needed wifi to do work, however the wifi did not reach my room and signal was too weak to connect my laptop to my 4g. Luckily, I was happy to sit in the restaurant and able to download my work during the day so I could work in the evening once the restaurant shut. It also meant I had to work with the restaurant chatter which wasn’t too loud but quite distracting compared to working in my room. This could be an issue if you are unable to download your work or need quiet for concentration or phone calls/meetings.

The staff are brilliant and helpful and the manager made me feel very welcome👍🏾
The mattress needs replacing as the springs are not responsive, causing dips in many areas.
The toilet flushing mechanism button is very loose
The shower head needs replacing
Ceiling has visible old water leak marks, to be treated and repainted.
Carpets needs freshening
Kettle needs descaling
The smoke alarm battery needs looking into as it was flashing red all night, and hindered my sleep.
Decor in many areas needs a fresh look.
Food👍🏾 Good. BUT. The gravy should have been separate from the food and carried in a small pot or gravy boat, so that the customer is able to make a choice where to pour, (if needed gravy at all). I had plenty of gravy poured over my food, but unfortunately, the already soft vegetables were drowning in it, which was a shame really.
But the service was very good
Please take these as legitimate reasons, once actioned, there will be a chance, I will return again because the reception was was 1st class
