About this house rental
A quaint, clean, updated, 1940s era bungalow-style cabin. Excellent location to call home base for all of your Black Hills adventures. From the Badlands to Mount Rushmore and Crazy Horse, Custer State Park to Sturgis, you can see everything within a 30-45 minute drive. Two-minute walk to Canyon Lake and Rapid Creek where you find fishing, kayaking and paddle boat rentals. Connected to Rapid City’s extensive bike and walking paths that include a nature trail, dog park and canyon lake park. Ten-minute drive to downtown Rapid City. Located in a quiet, family-oriented neighborhood, with a fenced back yard. Dog friendly for small fee of $10 per dog. Sleeps 4 adults comfortably, loft available for 1 additional person.

Quiet, cozy cabin close to all the attractions. Chad and Tara were great hosts and responded quickly to any questions I had. Would definitely stay here again if I find myself in South Dakota again!

Can't say enough about positive things about this stay,
As someone needing a place that accommodates a pair of dogs, I couldn't have asked for more. An easily accessible yard coupled with a rustic cabin that is both comfy and pet friendly is not an easy find.
We had another couple stay with us and we all appreciated the surroundings (beautiful neighborhood surrounded by parks great for both people and dog walking) and easy access to both the Black Hills and and the conveniences of Rapid City. It was particularly nice to not have to drive across Rapid City to access the Black Hills attractions.
The cabin was clean, right sized for two couples, and had all the accommodations a traveler, visitor, or tourist could ask for. As someone who finds it hard to relax while away from home, I slept well and quickly felt at home.
I contacted Chad and Tara multiple times for clarification about the property, personal requests, and answers about things I simply didn't understand as an infrequent vacationer. They were always very responsive, informative, and kind. I could not have asked for better hosts.
If I visit the area again, this property will be on the top of my list for places to stay. 10/10.

Nice fenced in back yard for dog to run around. Location was nice right next to walking trail and park. Golf course close by.
