Excellent location to call home base for all of your Black Hills adventures. Two-minute walk to Canyon Lake and Rapid Creek where you find fishing, kayaking and paddle boat rentals. Deer would frequently hang out in the neighborhood! Fenced in backyard was easy for letting my dog out! Close to the monument arena for our event!

We were in town for Mines Parents' Weekend and this cabin was perfect! My husband enjoyed some fishing right down the street. We were able to move around town easily and quickly. We were close enough to everything we needed and wanted to do! Thank you, again!

It was an amazing stay the little cabin was everything. It was in a great location for all the attractions that we wanted to see. It worked perfectly for the three of us. The cabin had everything that you need dor your stay! Great place to stay!

The property was awesome! The host was even more awesome. The host allowed early access to property which turned out to be a godsend. Host was very accommodating and answered emails/ text within minutes. I’m recommending the host to all my friends if they ever make a trip to Rapid City. Thanks again Tara and Chad.

Property listed for different rate and I was charged more than that rate. Front step was a loose slab of slate ( could be a lawsuit waiting to happen) there was a patched spot in bathroom on floor which was sketchy. Could not reach owners as the website was trying to connect with several sites at the same time. Neighbor was rude Did contact VRBO

Great little cabin close to a nature walking loop and park. It was clean and quaint. We cooked in one night and had everything we needed. The fireplace was perfect for a cool evening. We’d stay here again.

This was a perfect little place for our visit to Rapid City! The fenced in yard for our dogs could not have been easier. We loved the gas fireplace as it was cold and snowy while we were there. The location was excellent! It was an easy drive to downtown. We REALLY loved the nearby County Lake and all of the walkways and trails. They were perfect for taking our dogs for a walk. Also, the lake was full of fall migrating waterfowl! We saw some species that we had never seen before! Lastly, a big thank you to especially Tara. Thanks for being flexible with our changing dates due to the snowstorm. You were so helpful and our communications were timely and helpful. We so loved our visit. Thank you!

This place was perfect for me and my 79 year old mother who were in town over Thanksgiving visiting family in the area. The cabin had everything we needed (including a washer/dryer combo), and the backyard was perfect for my small dogs. The location is also great as it is close to walking trails and a beautiful lake. Plus all the tourist attractions are just a short drive away. We especially enjoying turning on the gas fireplace while getting organized in the morning. Tara and Chad we super helpful in getting us checked in a bit early. I would have loved to have stayed longer, but we had to get back to "real life". :)

Our second visit and there will definitely be more! We absolutely love this quaint VRBO…perfect location for so many day trips to surrounding areas! Clean with everything you could possible need.. not to mention our incredible hosts.. Chad and Tara… The fenced backyard is perfect for the dogs.. and covered patio an additional plus!

We loved our time in this quaint and unique property! Conversing and booking with the hosts was fast and easy. They were so kind and very responsive. Their listing said a limit of two dogs but we had three coming. They were happy to accommodate for a $10 extra fee. The fenced in backyard was so convenient and the cute neighborhood, walk to a nature trail and stroll to the lake were so simple! Thanks for making our trip fun and easy! If we are ever in the area again, we will definitely be back! :)

We stayed with our dog and the property was perfect. Temps hit over 100 and the AC kept it cool (although one bedroom was a little stuffy, there were fans in the rooms). The back yard was great for our dog and the space had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. It’s also very cutely decorated. We went to Badlands National Park and toured all around the Black Hills from the convenient location. Communication with the hosts was easy and responses to our questions were prompt. We would definitely stay here again when in the area!

We were able to visit all of the places on our list. Very comfortable and clean. It got a little hot in the one bedroom but other than that everything was wonderful! Really loved having a washer and dryer on hand.

Cozy cabin that met the needs of my family of five. We appreciated having many recreational and tourism opportunities within an hour of the cabin. Rapid City has great amenities and the rental owners communicated really well with our family.

We had a great time at this location which we used as a hub for Mount Rushmore, Custer State Park, Deadwood and the Badlands. There are two bedrooms and a loft so there was plenty of room for us. The owners are incredibly nice and responded quickly to any questions we had. The neighborhood is very quiet. We even saw deer right across the street!
