The room was spacious and very comfortable with a large bed, good quality sheets, and quiet air-con. We also liked the shower which was powerful, and roomy. Cleaners did a very good job.
The break fast was mediocre. Thai favorites, but made with no love. This didn't bother us too much as the location is amazing for food. Five minutes walk and you will find an amazing breakfast.
The pool was a disappointment. Smallish and very shallow, but our main complaint was that it smelled bad. Stagnant water or drain smell. We didn't use it much because of that.

Amazing boutique hotel with wonderful and helpful staff. Great value for money in the best location. Rooms were clean and comfortable.
New towels needs. Some of the towels were quite old and need replacing

Convenient location within the old town. A not-so-busy street in the southern part.
One side street away from Sunday Night Market (walking street), with nice restaurants and all you need within 10 minutes walking distance.
Rooms are spacious and have a nice view. Bathroom quite luxurious with huge tub, new shower, bidet-toilet.
Large flat screen TV (we did not use it, but it was there, alt least ;-) ), desk and two chairs for lounging in the room. Big closet and properly working safe large enough for a 15" laptop.
Breakfast was good and there was a nice café on the ground floor near the reception.
It's just loud in the morning, the windows and walls have absolutely no soundproofing. On the front there's a public school, so it's very busy from 6:30 to 8 am. In the back there's a temple with hourly long chanting in the evening.
Worst and absolutely unbearable was the "connecting doors" to the next room, leaving absolutely no privacy.
You could hear and understand every word spoken next door, including the snoring in the night. It was like in a common room of a hostel. We used earplugs at night and did only whisper while in the room due to the lack of privacy.
