The location is gorgeous. Being able to wake up and feel that you are on paradise does not have any price. The staff is wonderful and Maria particularly friendly. It is difficult to find food for one person on the island, but Maria started to cook on the evening. This is a family cuisine with fresh produce from the sea. It very tasty, unpretentious and very affordable. It felt a bit that Maria would invite you in her home.

I don’t remember myself crying for leaving a place, but today I did. This island and the guesthouse are magical, the views from the bungalow were magical, the people working here are the kindest. I was adopted by a cat who wouldn’t go away from my bungalow, which was something I didn’t expect and it made my time here even warmer. I’m a solo female traveler and didn’t feel alone at any moment.
They offer paddles for free, and even gave me goggles for snorkeling.
Maria went above and beyond to offer me vegan breakfast, even though I had not requested it in advance.
I hope I’ll have the opportunity to come back here in the future 🏝️❤️
In the area there are enough restaurants to not get bored of the food for a whole week. There’s a path you can walk through to get to the nearby beaches and the restaurants.
Everything was perfect.

We had amazing days at this lovely paradise pousada! If you search for an authentic and lovely stay, that’s the place to be. The cute rooms, yummy breakfast, the exceptional service and kindness of the hosts such as the sea front and sunset terrace made our stay unforgettable. Also the fresh cooked dinner was super tasty! We would always come back and recommend to go snorkeling with the turtles around while having a caipirinha (passion fruit and lemon mixed!) waiting at the terrace.

There is oat milk at breakfast.
The location and the view is truly amazing.
There is an amazing restaurant right next door called "Aloha" with amazing hosts and several delicious vegetarian options.
There is many small and bigger things that were wrong and made this stay overall disappointing. The place does not look as polished as on the pictures. They all made from a favorable angle. Cushions from the sun lounger by the water are filthy.
The bathroom needs a few reparations since both shower and sink were leaking.
The only way to really close the room is also closing all the window shutters and the upper rooms are basically publicly accesible.
There was really only one person from the staff that was helpful and approachable. Even the owner seemed disconnected from us and kept on speaking french to us and recommending places to eat meat and fish even though we speak portuguese (and no french at all) and are knowingly vegetarians.
The room was clean but the cushions, towels and bedsheets smelled really moist and damp, we did not have this problem in any other of the 5 accomodations we stayed in during our time in Brazil.
We purposly asked if there was snorkeling masks before coming to the island and we were told that yes, for rent, but when we got there the only two working masks they had were rented out during our entire stay. On the last evening the owner arranged more for us to use, but it was obv too late.
Unfortunetely there is a lot of human and dog feces in the area around the hotel, which you can often smell.
We definitely overpayed for this stay, there is other places in this price range on the island tht probably are in better condition, have better service etc. We would definitely not come back here when we will visit the island next time.
