The location was excellent, just a 2 minute walk to a laundry service and we'll stocked convenience store. Also a short walk to Wakaba Cafe which runs an international daycare upstairs - perfect for dropping our toddler off for a couple of hours.
About an 8 minute walk to the beach and beachfront restaurants and bars. But there are also heaps of eateries and shops along the road as well, so you won't get bored!
We really loved the private garden which was a little Oasis in amongst the busy streets.it was also enclosed, so our toddler could run around there safely.
Also loved that the pool could be completely closed off from the villa, so I didn't worry about our toddler accidentally falling in.
Also loved the staff, they were very pleasant and responsive and kept the villa very clean. Also provided bottled water each day.
Overall, it felt like a very safe place to stay and we'd happily stay there again.
There wasn't too much not to like. It is set back from a busy street, so can be quite noisy, but all the private villas we stayed in were like that, and we got used to the noise really quickly. It also wasn't bad enough to affect our toddler's sleep.
We had a bit of trouble getting the TV to work but that didn't really bother us that much.

EVERYTHING!!!
Easy to access even late in the evening, close to everything, mart, laundry and exchange of money right around the corner.
Every day beds and cleaning done.
Host very nice and friendly.

The villa is quite spacious, and the host was leaving us bottles of water everyday (which really helped when you are coming late and don't want to go to the supermarket just to get water.
It has a nice swimming pool, and the beds are big and comfortable.
The host was very responsive, and welcoming.
There is a well-known supermarket just around the corner which is very helpful when you want to get some essentials. However, it is very expensive as it is like an international supermarket.
There is a great spa as well, called "as.mara". Do yourself a favour and get a massage and mani and pedicure done!
There is also a laundry place that was excellent!
We had an issue with the A/C at the beginning, which the host fixed the next day (but my partner and my kid had to sleep in a different accommodation provided by the host for one night - which was outside of the villa). Still the A/C wasn't really working like it should, but we were okey.
The water pressure is very low, and the showers are next to the toilet so it does get a bit wet everywhere.
No shampoo, conditioner or hand towels and beach towels provided (not that is an issue if you are travelling with yours, but just need to be aware).
Location is very noisy. There is a supermarket just around the corner where there is a staff member with a whistle every time a car needs to get in and out of it to control traffic. And it seems like a main road, so there is a lot of movement.
You will need to take a Grab or taxi to the beach, but is not expensive.
