L'Aurore du Lac

Location was amazing for our purposes— right off the cycling path and across the street from an entry point to swimming in the lake

Granted we were there during one of the many heat waves this summer, but it was so, so hot in the studio apartment and there was no good ventilation system. Because we were on the ground level, we were reluctant to leave the large window open during the evenings when out to dinner or while sleeping. It would be a good idea for them to install the type of windows that can be tilted open at the top—enabling some air flow and also security. Also, the full set of outdoor furniture shown in the pictures was not available at our unit.

The location was brilliant, just a 2 min walk from the lake, right by the cycle path. We had a speed boat, and bikes, and a car so it made everything super accessible. Marc the owner was very friendly and helpful and gave us access to the garage and use of kayaks too. The accommodation was clean and sufficient.

Some of the beds were quite uncomfy, and no aircon, so it was hot at night. Basic facilities but sufficient.

The previous guests didn’t clean properly. House not adapted for small children.
