Very peaceful environment.Gotha has a lot of history

Quite a long walk from the train station (about 2km). The lights in the hallway didn't turn on quickly so I needed to use my phone torch to light the way to my room. The front door was kinda hard (after hours) to unlock but I got there in the end.

The access to the inner yard and the church! Very extra! And a clean and modern room close to the citycentre.

The atmosphere is what you would expect in a monastery. The rooms are Carmelite convent cells with a simple birch wood cross on the walls. Everything is spotless and the staff helpful and friendly. We were on a bicycle tour of Thuringia and this is a nice place to relax after a day of pedaling. You are also in the center of Gotha and close to all the tourist activities.

Impressive location, very quiet, right in the center of Gotha, nice breakfast, very nice staff.
