The hotel is beautiful. It’s set right next to the canal - you can watch the boats go by and even relax in a hammock.
The staff were really friendly and helpful, we couldn’t ask to stay in a better hotel - they even arranged a private yoga class for us.

The hotel is on an island and so slightly outside the main area and requires a 2 min boat journey to access it.
This wasn’t an issue for us as we were aware at booking. Also, a speedy tuk tuk ride gets you from the town centre to the jetty in no time.
However if you want to be within walking distance from ‘the action’ this probably isn’t the hotel for you.

Room comfortable and good to have own outdoor seating area. Location is pretty and grounds well tended
Food options poor. Definitely not a resort! More a nice property with an average pool out back. As the hotel is located on an island at the far end of Finishing Point Road it is too isolated
