Exceptional

Great location, spectacular views over the bay, comfy and clean room. Leo, the owner is extremely helpful and easy to communicate with. Warmly recommended to stay here!

Terraza with a view

Leo is a wonderful host. The rooms are clean and well equipped. The view from the terrace is among the best in Drake and it's fun to sit there and have sundowners.

The building is beside a dirt road and the dust travels everywhere. The communal kitchen is wonderful but some of the appliances need replacement e.g. stove....

Nice view, airco

The entrance was unclear. We needed to bang on a gate to attract the personnel’s attention and enter via a small wooden door on the side. No good private parking spot. We ran out of toilet paper but could not find anybody to help. The soap dispensers in the bathroom were empty. When leaving in the morning the personnel of the hotel was not found.

Very good

The friendly and helpful host and the terrace with it’s lovely view. We enjoyed the possibility to cook and have breakfast up there.

The cooking area could be better equipped and the fuses didn’t cope with much cooking at the same time.

Enjoy Corcovado and Drake

The property is close to the beach, where you arrive and there are some places to eat and two mini-markets near too. Rooms are spacious and comfortable, they are placed down the terrace. The terrace is big and there are everithing you need to cook and eat, with very beatiful views. The owner, Leo, is very helpful and kindly and give you information about different activities and pick your lugage from/to the beach. He guide us at 7.00 am to our tour in Corcovado and help us to went back to Sierpe

Book It Up !!!! :-)

Drake is fantastic, loads to do & chilled out village, drive over in Dec/Jan was bumpy but fine in a 4x4. takes about 1 hour30. best views in the village by far, we more or less have this villa to ourselves & the owner Leo was excellent & helped us book trips & even came along with us on the Big sunset Cat which was the best fun.

lack of required information in advance about transportation and tours these two things are critical at Drake's Bay internet and kitchen facilities need to get better

lovely stay

great location Leo the owner of the property made sure we had a taxi to collect us from the airport, he was helpful at arranging activities for us regularly Leo also took us to the boat on our last day with our luggage. gorgeous terrace with great view loads of wildlife on your doorstep supermarket opposite various choices for restaurants close by

WiFi signal poor in rooms shower only has cold water rooms only cleaned once

Great location, amazing staff!

Beautiful view from the terrace/ communal kitchen. Great location - close to everything. Leo was very helpful booking our tours before we arrived (which was great because everything was booked out when we arrived!) and with any questions we had during our stay.

The bed was a bit uncomfortable and the bathroom was quite dark. It might be nice to have tea and coffee in the kitchen for guests to use.

Very good

Very well located, the rooms are very spacious and there is a nice view on the bay from the terrace. Leo was helpful with tour booking and responsive.

The terrace has a kitchen, but it's not very well equipped and not the cleanest (the rooms however are very clean), so if you're planning on cooking that might not be the best spot.

great place to stay

Everything was great! Special thanks to the host Leo - he’s extra helpful and nice. He helped to book a tour for us at no additional charge and also guided us to the normal route with a bridge on our way out of the peninsula. The location is great, close to everything in the village and the terrace has just a wow view!

Nothing. The a/c is a bit loud, but this is a minor thing. Would definitely recommend staying at this place, you won’t regret it!

Wow! stunning view and an amazing host!

drake bay and espacially this Hotel was one of our highlights in costa rica. the host was so helpful and made sure that we get on the right boat. he also was responding very quickly to all my questions. the room was perfect for our stay, a good A/C and super clean. but the most important: the view! the terrace is spacious and comfortable. if you miss something in the kitchen: just ask! ...and wait only 2 seconds. just a few steps away you find supermarkets and our favorite Restaurant: la choza. stay here and enjoy! we'll be back as soon as possible

Nothing! Just a note: if you work digital there is sometimes no wifi in Drake. great, you have time to watch the flocks of parrots and Macaws
