The house was old ( 50s style) but spacious and met all our needs. Comfy beds, good kitchen. Heating only in bedrooms but we left doors open overnight.
No abc or sbs on the tv but we just watched something else. 🤪

We stayed in the 'self-contained house', which is a true treasure! For not much more than a standard rate, we got a whole house to ourselves, including fenced-off backyard. Plenty of space in the kitchen, living room, and bedrooms. Good quality heating in the bedrooms, enough to warm up other areas.
We've stayed in a few motels, caravan parks, etc. in our time, but never before have we received a personal tour from the proprietor as we did here - thanks Andrew! He also gave good advice on the local shops/restaurant possibilities, and was friendly throughout. We wondered the next day if we'd left a toy behind, and Andrew searched and inquired carefully on our behalf. Very thankful for his helpful and kind attitude.
The kitchen equipment was a little erratic - e.g. one small saucepan, a frying pan... and a huge pan you could make paella in?! Not all the standard utensils (from memory, no tongs). Fewer glasses than the number of beds - but plenty of mugs.
