This apartment meets all our expectations!

The terrace of the apartment was recently renovated with great care and taste.

Wifi connection is okay, but could be better..

Exceptional

The apartment is spacious and comfortable, and it was very quiet during our stay. The kitchen has the essentials for cooking and meals, with refrigerator and dishwasher, microwave, coffee machine and electric kettle, as well as pans and basic kitchen electric equipment, such as food processor. Both toilet and shower rooms clean and spacious, although the water pressure was a bit low, and there were no toiletries other than toilet paper. Towels clean and fluffy, but not for beach. Internet was fine for basics such as email and messaging, but could not support Netflix during high demand. The location is excellent, with a Spar nearby, a couple of restaurants, fish and chips and ice cream shops within minutes, and a beach shop/gift shop next door. Our apartment was ground floor, and we could exit to the forest from our patio door, which was great for taking out the dog. There is a small playground for young children in the premises, and a much bigger one for older children within five minutes walk. The town of Buren is about ten minutes away, and there are horse stables about 25 minutes away. Nes is about 35 minutes walk, either through town or by the back road. Bike paths everywhere, and convenient hourly bus to/from ferry, town and beach, coordinated with ferry hours. The apartment is pleasantly decorated, and it accommodated me, my two daughters and our dog perfectly --about the latter, the only inconvenience was that the hard wood floors made it not ideal, since you could hear the noise by the nails when he moved around. It was however easy to clean. There was reasonable lobby service, very pleasant and helpful. However, we did not appreciate that the final price was not as advertised by Booking.com, since we had to pay some extra expenses we had not been informed of until after the booking. We found consolation on the late check out option though, which was fabulous because it allowed us to enjoy our last day in the island before the ferry.

There were some extra expenses not included in the reservation by Booking.com, which we only learned about after the reservation was done.

Goed geïsoleerde kamer/keuken, onlangs helemaal opgeknapt. Ligging dichtbij supermarkt en horeca en het strand was zeker op loofafstand.
