The property was in a central location and easy to get to the shops and car park
There was no on site car parking, we struggled to get a car park space in all car parks in Ambleside on the Saturday due to the race and being busy.
We managed to get a space on the university campus park car for a few hours then move the car closer to the building later on.

Great location, perfect room size - didn’t feel boxed in.
Would have liked a bath after a day of hiking.

Location and the parking permit
Wasn’t the room I thought we had booked, very noisy at night and too warm in the room. Shower was blocked when we arrived so had to get someone to come fix it. No fridge in the room and limited space to put belongings or get ready for the day. Another buildings window looks in on the shower, basic facilities.
