This was a perfectly fine place to stay before we launched a riverboat trip in Tanjung Puting National Park. The room was spacious and clean, which is the best case scenario! The breakfast had a nice selection of offerings. The staff were very professional.
Just be aware that if you need an extra bed, you get charged for it!

This is mostly a transit hotel for people travelling to Tanjung Puting National Park. So it was nice to find a hotel with some traditional charm - including the garden and architecture. The staff were friendly and helpful and we had a good omelette for breakfast. I also had an excellent soup for dinner in the restaurant (there aren’t many dining or hotel options in Pangkalan Bun).
Nothing. The hotel was hosting a small women’s conference so was quite busy (esp. at breakfast), but it was nice to see this side of Indonesia and the staff made sure we were still looked after.

Friendly staff and good external laundry service. Room was clean.
- Really noisy hotel both doors slamming and traffic outside
- I could hear rats running on the ceiling while sleeping
- biggest downside is that the WiFi connection was really poor and unstable. Not connecting properly from the room and even in communal areas it kept disconnecting.
