About this house rental
The Haven is a luxuriously appointed, detached holiday house located in the south of the Isle of Wight within an area known for its Mediterranean-style climate and areas of natural beauty.
There is plenty to see and do on the Isle of Wight. The secluded Steephill Cove is a five minute stroll away, and the Ventnor Botanical Gardens with a modern visitor centre, incorporating regular local art displays and exhibitions, is just a couple of minutes' walk away. The gardens also have a restaurant and a children's play park. An ideal location for an outdoor break, the Isle of Wight coastal path walks are within a minutes' walk of the Haven.
Ventnor seafront offers various places to eat, a popular beach which is good for sunbathing and swimming, a selection of shops and amusements, and plenty of car parking.
The luxury self catering rental can accommodate 10 guests, using the two full height pull-out beds in the twin bedroom.
Additional Information:
Please note that the property is suitable for a maximum of eight adults due the fourth bedroom having two full height pull-out beds (suitable for children) providing a maximum of four beds.
Travel cot, high chair and stair gates available on request.
Up to two well-behaved dogs are welcome (small additional charge). The ferries welcome dogs in the passenger lounges in dedicated areas and provide water bowls.
Please note that the telephone is for local and emergency calls only.
Please be aware, although a charcoal barbecue is provided, the local council do put restrictions on barbecue use during dry summers, due to the limited resources in the event of an emergency. Charcoal not provided.

Large property, very steep driveway in and out with narrow entrance but good first impression. House is large and has good amenities with brick BBQ in garden (not listed on property details). Beds are comfortable and bedrooms are enormous! Garden is very well maintained with nice shaded outside eating areas. Plenty of living space and extra area upstairs for relaxing. Most places are a drive away rather than walking - Ventnor is very hilly! Beach here is pretty but shingle rather than sand. A nice little paddling pool on the promenade is good for younger children. Overall a good property and the Isle of Wight is a fabulous location for a multi generation family holiday.

6 adults and 4 children have enjoyed4 nights in this house. The house and it's rooms are very spacious, beds are very comfortable and each en suite of a well proportioned size. Garden used excessively by the kids ..2 good seating areas with loads og games dvds e en xbox upstairs...the kitchen was well equipped and we catered for ourselves easily..the only improvement was the driveway as it was very difficult to see the low walls each side when exiting the property..a guide out may be needed or you may scratch the lower sills..also the driveway was sloppy with a thin ages..a pressure wash would help..apart from that I would highly recommend

We had a lovely weekend away to celebrate a special family birthday. It was a really lovely place to stay, very spacious, clean, with everything you could possibly need in the kitchen. The hamper was a lovely touch too. Definitely would stay again.
