We had a wonderful stay at Albabenshal Siwa Lodge in Siwa, and I would highly recommend it to anyone visiting the oasis.
The staff were incredibly friendly, welcoming and accommodating throughout our stay. Salama, the owner, was a fantastic host, as was Mohamed Ali, who was always happy to help and took us around Siwa in his tuk-tuk to explore the various sights.
Our room was clean, very spacious and comfortable. However, what really makes this hotel special is its exceptional location, right inside the historic Shali Fortress. In less than a minute’s walk, you can be at the top of the fortress, enjoying breathtaking panoramic views across Siwa. Watching the sunrise from there was absolutely spectacular and one of the highlights of our stay.
The food was also excellent. There’s a lovely café just beneath the hotel, serving delicious freshly prepared food, with a fantastic chef.
The hotel is perfectly situated in the heart of Siwa, with the tuk-tuk station just outside and plenty of lovely little shops nearby selling souvenirs and locally made products.
Overall, a fantastic place to stay, with wonderful hospitality, excellent food and an unbeatable location. We thoroughly enjoyed our time here and would happily stay again. Highly recommended!

The hotel is beyond gorgeous, and all of the staff were so friendly and welcoming! The food is exceptional and reasonably priced. I would highly recommend staying there to everyone!
