Nice location. Good food in the bar. Popular place, completely full.

Fantastic food at a good price. Excellent staff. 4 bed Bunk room was fine - even had a sofa. A good place to stay
A sink in a bathroom was propped up with a piece of loose timber that fell out, detaching the plumbing - not ideal.

I liked the location and the setup. It had food onsite which made it easy as there was no open market in town. Easy to find. Clean. Good showers, hot water.
I paid for a female only room and at the last minute the owner put a man in the room. There were other females she could have swapped and to put in there but she didn’t. It was me and this guy. Thankfully I knew him I have stayed in others hostels where he has stayed but what if it was another man I didn’t know. And let’s be real I stayed in a few
Hostels he stayed at but I don’t really KNOW him so this decision was not cool. It was already time for bed when she showed him in so I couldn’t do anything about it. He was uncomfortable and I was uncomfortable. It was not cool. Night was fine. I left early he was older and didn’t leave as early as me. But inn keepers need to be more mindful. They don’t stay onsite so if something happens we are on our own. Bathroom in that room didn’t lock. Otherwise it was a nice place.
