Très bien

Très bon accueil, propre, literie très bonne, petit déjeuner copieux, idéalement situé pour le métro ligne 4 château d'eau et lignes 4, 7 et 5 gare de l'Est, on peut ainsi facilement aller partout. Bref un hôtel sans prétention pour bien dormir et bien petit déjeuner au tarif imbattable. Merci au personnel pour son accueil chaleureux.

Good for the price and location

The hotel is in a good neighborhood with metro connections in a 250m walk. The rooms are a bit small but clean and comfortable. The staff are very friendly and professional. The breakfast is ok for the price.

Small Hotel near Paris attractions

Hotel just off the main attractions therefore it was very convenient for a short stay in Paris. The rooms were clean and the cleaners working there were very friendly.

Sooo glad they changed my room.

Handy location for Paris Nord and Est, but that's really the only reason I'd stay here. I was alone and there were some shady characters about in the streets nearby as I came and left. Lovely curry places nearby, so I think if you weren't alone and could choose a room you'd be ok, but the first room I was given was Room 101, and it had a window which looked out onto a dirty shaft thing, if you looked several storeys up out of the window you could just see daylight, but it was grim, especially with the Room 101 connotations, so I asked to move to a room with light, and the chap was great and gave me a room at the front which looked out onto the street. Basic rooms, no kettle or hairdryer, and bed not very comfy, with a very thin cover. Shower curtain too long so just kind of flopping in the bottom of the shower. The room I was given was fine, but I can't rate the hotel highly because if you had to stay in a room with the 'view' you get from room 101, you'd be very upset. Quite noisy at random times because I think it's mostly for people getting trains and some might be super early.

Whoops, I pretty much wrote everything already. A few dirty marks on towel and curtains.

Overall. Fair stay and value for money

Close to the metros, Gare de Nord main station and many restaurants and shops around. Location is not bad as others exaggerated in terms of safety. I walked nearby places almost midnight all the time. The street nearby is full of restaurants(most of them are not french cuisine), mostly it's all crowded till 12 or 1am.. About the stay, the room given to us is much smaller than expected but I can't complain about it because of the price(not sure they have bigger rooms for 3 for different prices). Anyway we visited Paris for tourism, so we only used the room for sleep and refresh. Hardly been in room during day. So the size or facilities didn't bother us. It was clean, everyday they cleaned and changed bedspreads, towels. The staff was good and responsive.

Though I mentioned we are a family with child upon booking, they still offered the 4th floor and the facility didn't have a lift. Booking was made almost 2 months before so they can't say all immediate floors are booked. About the cafe, my son tried croissant but didn't like it. So we stopped going there. So I can't say it's good or bad for others.

Served its purpose for a stop-over between changing trains, but nothing else.

Hotel was within walking distance of the Gare de l'Est and Gare du Nord which was the reason why I chose it but it was not a good choice as it turned out. It served its purpose for a few hours stop-over between changing trains but nothing else. I am pleased I was alone and didn't have my wife with me.

Room was dingy and only just on the borderline as being acceptable. The small washbasin was not useable, the bathroom was borderline dirty and very old fashioned. Not a close-coupled toilet, for example, it had old cistern and chain and not the modern stylish type.

A stay in hell. Don't think of staying there.

Absolutely nothing. Terrible stay.

This was like a stay in hell 😡 The staff are totally unfriendly and unhelpful. We contacted them on arrival at Barcelona and requested an early check in or at least to leave our bags (2 bags) at a storage area until check in time. Both requests were rejected. We had to wonder around the city with our bags for 3 hours and half. We even called them on the phone to ask if there are any paid locker spaces to use. We were asked to only contact through booking website. The apartment is located on a very high steep hill. We had to walk up to reach the apartment. We were not given heads up or any recommendation from their staff. It took us about 30 minutes to walk up and by the time we reached there we were totally exhausted. When it was time to check out, we contacted them again to request a late check out because our flight had been delayed by 12 hours. Our request was again rejected and we were told that if we didn't check out by 11.30, they would charge us an extra day. I admire their courage very much because they contacted me the next day and requested a good review on booking. They also informed me that if I decided to stay with them again and contact them directly and not through Booking, they would offer me a discount. Totally not worth the money we paid. We would never recommend anyone to stay there.

Superb

Very good location: close to railway station, not far away from the city centre in a quiet side street. Good value for money. Good breakfast. Very good wifi-connection. Very friendly staff.

Dissapointment

The only good thing was reception workers. They are nice.

Of course it was a cheap hotel, but come on. At least it could be clean. I would fire all cleaning ladies there. They did not change bed clothes, because I found hair on my bed, and it was both from head and “not from head”. Bathroom was terribly dirty, even mirrors. How hard it is to clean mirrors?If you want, i can come and teach your stuff how to clean. You could have a nice cosy old hotel…but i think you just choose to be dirty cheap hotel.

Great value for money, very well connected

Great value for money, very good location, very clean and restful beds. Very nice and helpfull staff. 3 nights, family of 4, 2 confortable double beds, 1st floor, a large, nice room, overlooking the main entrance, quiet and nice. Great breakfast for 7euro. Luggage storage. Reading the reviews, it totally exceeded all our expectations.

All great for us, nothing to dislike, placed in a multicultural area. Thin walls but nothing to complain. Narrow stairs, no lift, just as the metro access.

Perfect for one or two night stay or stopover before catching Eurostar

Great location, good place to stay if you are travelling by train and easy walk to Eurostar station. Nice streets, shops and cafés around. It's a place to sleep you can't really spend time in the small rooms, clean but dated. Staff really warm and friendly.
