Perfect location. Very nice, professional stuff. Clean rooms and very comfortable beds. I liked wellness here, it was very spacious and clean. And very quiet hotel. I did not notice other guests.
I was run out of hot water during my shower. And I missed some drying rack for sport clothes.

Absolutely amazing experience! Such a hidden gem and would recommend to anyone visiting Austria!
About a 10 min walk from lake Achensee (go for sunset the views are incredible!) And a really good base if you are heading into Pertisau for the Bärenkopf Hike!
The staff were very friendly (including the hotel dog!) And the views from our room were stunning!

Anywhere close
to Achensee is good. I also stayed in Pertisau and i liked it more, i will go back there again than in Maurach.
The old guy at the reception is not friendly. Also, the sauna cannot be used when you come earlier than the check in time.
The dinner for half pension only has 6pm to 6:30pm start, you are not allowes to start dinner later than that!
Cappucino is expensive and not good! in other hotels, it is automatically free
and part of breakfast.
Food is ok, its what you get for paying cheap.
