The owners, Pia and Kurt, of this historic, family home were friendly, kind people. It was wonderful for us to connect with authentic mountain-people. They can give you great hiking recommendations. Not only from the several garden terraces, but also from our comfortable bed, we could look across the valley to the towering Wetterhorn peak, and even see the Eiger in the distance. Incredible. Pia has spent a lot of time creating and caring for her multi-level garden, and it’s a real treat to spend time there in the evenings or when you need a rest day from touring around the Haslital. For a couple days, it’s nice to simply walk from this apartment and ride the lifts or gondolas up into the alpine.
I knew when we reserved this place that it would be tiny. There’s no sofa inside, just two dining chairs at the small table. But you’ll want to spend most of your time outside in the garden. It was a challenge to cook in the tiny kitchenette. Also, be forewarned that you probably won’t be able to cook on the stovetop. The hosts don’t want to have smells wafting into their house above you. But they’ll probably provide a nice barbecue for you. And Coop and Migros stores both have a lot of ready-to-eat meals. It’s worth not having a decent kitchen, in exchange for the views.

- "Tourist card" mise à disposition (avec transports publics gratuits et nombreuses réductions)
- Propreté impeccable
- Localisation (quartier calme, proche des commodités et vue magnifique)
- Logement peu chauffé à notre arrivée (et il faisait 4°C ce jour-là dehors)
- Manque de rideaux occultant dans la pièce principale (avec lumière du jour nous réveillant à 5-6h du matin)
- Le matelas est un peu dur à notre goût
- Interdiction de cuisiner alors qu'il y a des plaques de cuisson sur la kitchenette (mais cela ne nous a pas dérangé car nous n'avions pas prévu de cuisiner)
