Great location, close to the pier and 7-Eleven, with easy access to the beach and bars. It is also close to the main road, but still quiet. The rooms are very clean, modern, and well furnished. The host was also very helpful and quickly offered me another room when I had a problem.
The walls in the first room(Koh Tao myhome village) were extremely thin, and you could hear almost everything from the next room, including normal conversations. Unfortunately, the couple next to my room was arguing throughout the entire night, so I couldn’t sleep at all.
The next day, the host gave me another room in the next building, MyHome Village (without “Koh Tao” at the beginning). The room was not renovated, but it was much bigger, clean, and had proper walls with no noise from the neighbours.
Overall, if you are sensitive to noise, I would recommend booking a room in the MyHome Village building (instead of Koh Tao myhome village) which has better sound insulation.

Very good value for money, very clean (rooms but also swimming pool, and whole property and facilities in general). Very friendly staff and good food, also for dinner (especially the fried pineapple rice with shrimps). good location close within walk distance from the beach and other bars and restaurants. They were also very easy going in having your towels changed.
It would have been great to have some additional comfortable common seats/chairs/lying chairs to quietly read a book (away from the nice music at the bar, which is great during meals or having a drink, but might be too much for quiet book reading.

The place is beautiful and well maintained, the pool and the gym are the strongest points.
It’s a resort, but the hostel looks like a work camp. Rooms are dark with no natural light, and I missed a common area that was not the bar.
