We love the location which is in the center of the Taichung city. There are multiple 24hr family mart and 7-11 just around the corner. There are self-service coin payment washing machine and dryer in the same building which makes things convenient. You can change the coins with the staff downstairs if you run out of coins.
The building is just next to Watson, which we can grab anything we need from downstairs. It is just 2min walk opposite the main Taichung MRT/TRA station. Bus stop is directly infront of the entrance as well. Transportation is very easy at the location.
Walking distance to Asean super market and Miyahara is just 1 min around the corner. There are also nice cafes nearby. If you decide to spend more time walking (15min-20min) to explore the area, u can find Taichung 2nd market, Anime lane, miyahara, cafes and shopping malls just nearby. Value for dollars. We didnt opt in for breakfast since we are going to nearby places to eat.
Convenient self check in using check in machine, it also has English translation which helps.
They could have installed better/bigger dryer. Unfortunately there are many times we couldnt dry our clothes from the machine despite reducing our loan to less than half of the machine and running for almost 2hrs, yet our clothes are still wet.
Some of the switch in the room is abit old and faulty (especially the ones in toilet) We have to leave it on permenantly just incase it switches off again. But it doesnt really affect our sleep.
