Beautiful resort set along the banks of the river in Pai. Cabanas are rustic, boho with lovely little touches that elevate the place plus super comfy mattresses, (the most comfortable in Thailand). Breakfast is included and includes a good spread. The peace and quiet of the nature around e.g. birdsong coupled with the gurgling of the river makes this a wonderfully peaceful spot in nature. Staff are lovely.
Unfortunately, noise was an issue during parts of our stay. While we were there, a local festival meant loud music and heavy bass from around 7pm until midnight each night for about a week, which made it difficult as I was also working during this time.
During the day, there were also occasions where larger groups from certain nationalities gathered on the west bank opposite the hotel, playing music and creating quite a lot of noise, which took away from what would otherwise be a peaceful setting.
That said, Pai is a lovely place, though it does feel more developed and busier than expected.
