Mata is such a friendly person with great suggestions, nice talks and finds solutions for problem. We asked for a different room because our original room was above a jazz club. Luckily for us there was a cancellation and Mata immediately made the room ready for us. Every question you may have you can ask her.
The breakfast is at another place which is also very nice, quiet and relaxing.
The room itself has a charming character. Room 9 more basic and rustig and room 12 more luxury.
The shower in room 9 was very very very small and gets really wet. The jazz club is very loud but manageable with the given earplugs. We just weren't handy with the said earplugs.

The property was perfectly located, in the heart of the Old Venetian Harbour. It had an old world feel and was airy and comfortable.
But the best part was Mata, the Manager. She is extremely knowledgeable about, not only Chania, but other parts of the island and was always ready to give a great recommendation.
The bathroom was small and the shower was very tight.

Mata was an excellent, friendly host who answered all our questions before travel and whilst we were away. We were made to feel very welcome. The location was excellent, very close to the old Venetian harbour in a quiet part of Chania’s old town. The apartment very comfortable, light, airy and clean.
The kitchenette was sparsely but well equipped with everything we needed when preparing simple meals during our two week stay. The recommended local cafe, very close to the apartment, proved to be a fantastic spot for breakfast with scenic views and a wide choice of local breakfast options. There were many local cafes and restaurants to eat out, spoilt for choice!
The quiet rooftop terrace was not overlooked and offered various views of the mountains, snapshots of the sea and town rooftops.
We loved our stay with Mata at this location and we loved Chania old town and highly recommend!
