Really lovely, super clean hotel. We enjoyed walking to local shops, restaurants and the beach. The property arranged hotel transfer for us (which was late at night) and we were able to wait in the very comfortable reception area. We were also able to use the kitchen where there is a microwave, kettle and fridge. Not many staff speak English so we needed google translate at times.

This is a lovely little place in Dakar - what stood out for us were the wonderful staff and delicious food (both breakfast and dinner) and the location is good too.
Our room had a balcony but it was very small and very dusty from the building site just opposite (see photo). Also, because the bed is positioned right in front of the only window and the blinds completely block out the light, it's not possible to just chill in bed during the day without the people in the street/building site being able to observe you - unless you close the blinds and turn on the lights which is a shame. The other rooms have better layouts I believe. Our second issue with was a long-term resident who had basically set up his office in the common area so unfortunately we had to eat our breakfast and dinner while listening to his very loud business calls - really ruined the atmosphere...Might be a good idea to suggest he works from his room ;)
