Located in Sotira, this charming villa for $241 per night is a great choice for your next trip. Ministry of Cyprus Tourism Villa Registration number 0007045 valid through to 11.04.2027. New for 2024!! All beds have been replaced with Luxury Gevorest beds. There is a King Sized bed in the master bedroom and single beds in the two twin bedrooms. The single beds can bed zipped together to provide a super King sized bed, or can be left as single for those younger members of the family. For 2024 we have upgraded the free aircon in the bedrooms to provide a maximum of 6 hours per night for a more uninterrupted sleep on those hot summer nights. Our villa is an all season, luxurious, spacious and private 3 bedroom detached villa with unlimited fibre WiFi with download speeds of 265 Mbps and upload speeds of 65 Mbps. The villa enjoys beautiful views of the sea, set back 800 metres from the sea front. A short walk away is the sandy blue flag Ayia Thekla beach and the fantastic Waterpark. Ayia Napa is a 5 minute car drive away. The villa has a large private luxury, 10x5m, overflow roman nosed walk in, tiled pool, shallow end 80cm for smaller children. The luxury villa will sleep 8 people and has 3 bedrooms,1 double with King Sized bed and 2 twins with 1 twin on the ground floor, the beds in these bedrooms can be zipped together to make a super King bed, or for the younger members of the family be left as single ones, with a bed settee in the lounge. The master bedroom has large terrace area. Bedrooms have built in wardrobes and hairdryers. Family bathroom upstairs and bathroom room downstairs, with shower, toilet and basin. Spacious dining and living area with fully fitted kitchen. Living area overlooks the patio and the pool. Fully air conditioned, private secluded mature garden, BBQ 6 sun loungers, TV, DVD player. The television system provides UKTV from an IPTV (internet Protocol TV) system. Potomos Fishing Village: If you love fish, then this is the place to visit! It is only a short walk away, even quicker by car, and here you will find two excellent restaurants with traditional Cypriot hospitality. One restaurant overlooks the estuary and the other overlooks the Mediterranean. Here you can relax in a non tourist environment enjoying fresh fish straight from the sea! We had a lovely time mostly spent in the fantastic pool. Everything is as listed however we agree with previous comments that A/C is limited to 2 hours max that needs to be reset after each session. Not good at night.
We visited at the height of Cyprus summer and struggled a bit with no fans and the restricted air con. Perhaps thought should be given that it’s not appropriate to sit indoors with doors shut to have the air con during the day and that fans would be more appropriate in high 30 degree temperatures. The heat was near unbearable especially to our 2 & 5 year olds.
We also had four sunshade bases but only one parasol, however a second one was quickly provided on request. This still meant having to keep moving the parasols and bases around which wasn’t ideal.
All that said we still had a great time.

We did have a couple of issues though, the villa is advertised to have air conditioning yet the temperature is preset, with controls to alter it, and the a/c can only be put on individually in each room for 2 hours at a time (quite ridiculous when you have a hot room with three young kids sleeping, as we did, and it’s unsafe to leave a window open!). Had we known this prior to booking, we would not have stayed. We did also have a power cut to the villa (related to a fuse I understand) yet we could not get hold of anyone as it was late evening and didn’t have power for over 12 hours. It was rectified but it was an inconvenience and most the food from the fridge was inedible for our kids.

The outdoor space was superb, lots of space, good facilities, pool immaculate and safe for young children. Beach too far for young children to walk but very easy drive.

We arrived in end of April so required pool heating for a bit
We paid £250 to start off with for kerosene this lasted from sat morning to tuesday the temp in ayia napa was about 20C
We then put another £250 of kerosene in this lasted until the Thursday so about 2 says ish by then the temp in ayia napa was in the 80.s around that time. We couldn't understand why although the temp had risen outside but we got less days from the kerosene ?
However as we said lovely a holiday

Roger and Sarah the hosts of this villa go above and beyond to make sure your stay is perfect. After we booked covid struck and we could not travel, Roger kindly carried our dates forward at no extra charge which legally he did not have to do. The Vila is everything you could wish for fully equipped with everything you will need (except a broom so i could not sweep up) . We have already booked for 2023 and been promised one with a bow on when we arrive. We had the pool heated at an extra cost but well worth ever penny the grand children were in it all day and discovered skinny dipping lol. The location is perfect short drive or taxi to supermarkets, restaurants, bars, beaches and Ayia Napa . I believe most of the surrounding villas are residential making it very peaceful and quite. Gavin ans Alison are very nice greeted us and checked in towards the end of our stay check everything was ok. You cannot fault this villa in any way PERFECT

Excellent villa, great location just outside Ayai Napa. Pool was amazing the kids really enjoyed it. The villa was very well equipped with great hosts.
Great restaurant near by ‘Family Restaurant’ right by the beach. Very relaxing 2 week break looking forward to going back another time.

Although images of the advertised property via VRBO are stunning and live up to expectations, visitors will not appreciate the true beauty of its tranquil surroundings until you first land there. The property owner and support team were accommodating and helpful in every way especially during the uncertainty of COVID. We cannot recommend the property high enough and if you do choose this one you will find that its visitors book entries reflect our sentiment in every way. We would definitely go back in a heartbeat should the chance arise again, we’re missing the gorgeous pool already as we sit at the airport ready to jet home xx

The Haven has everything you need for a wonderful holiday.
We were in Cyprus for our son’s wedding, staying in the Haven with our daughter, son in law and 5 year old grandson.
The villa was everything it promised to be, absolutely spotless, everything you could possibly need in the kitchen, spacious rooms with wonderful outside space, lots of different areas to sit, if it got to hot we could move to a lovely shaded area. Sun beds comfortable and clean. Many thanks to Gavin for replacing a slightly damaged one. Fantastic pool, which we struggled to get our grandson out of.

The Haven has everything you need for a wonderful holiday.
We were in Cyprus for our son’s wedding, staying in the Haven with our daughter, son in law and 5 year old grandson.
The villa was everything it promised to be, absolutely spotless, everything you could possibly need in the kitchen, spacious rooms with wonderful outside space, lots of different areas to sit, if it got to hot we could move to a lovely shaded area. We had a wonderful 2 weeks in this villa and the headline is that we will be going back again as we liked it so much. It's really difficult to find villas with a heated pool in Eastern Cyprus but this one was heated. We paid in advance for a full tank of kerosene and we were refunded for what we didn't use without any fuss. The pool is clean and benefits from the sun most of the day. There is plenty of space around the pool and more than enough sun loungers. The real bonus for us was having the gated area so the kids couldn't get to the pool without us opening the gate. Only downside is that you have to leave the dining area door shut.
The kitchen is small but usable with everything we needed including all the necessary pots and pans. We broke a couple of items accidentally but the owner wasn't fussy about this. The lounge is fairly large with 2 sofas so there was plenty of space for 4 adults and 2 children. One of the sofas was a L shape. We rearranged the furniture a bit to suit us and the letting agent was happy with this. There is a TV with an internet connected box. This works OK as long as nothing else is used on WiFi, but once something else starts to use up bandwidth then it cuts in and out. It was comforting to have some English TV while away, although we could also have coped easily without it.
The bedrooms are all just the right size with plenty of wardrobe space. The upstairs bathroom was just right and the downstairs toilet was fine, but you have to be fairly small to have a shower in the downstairs shower room as it's under the stairs and the shower head is low down. It was fine to use the upstairs shower over the bath though.
Communication with the owner beforehand was very reassuring and having access to his letting agent while we were in Cyprus was great - they are an English couple so it's not like a big corporate letting company.
There was also a welcome pack when we arrived including wine and beer which helped us a lot as we arrived on a Sunday afternoon. The villa is located between Agia Thekla and Agia Napa and it's not far to get to Protaras or Larnaca.(max 30 mins). Agia Napa is lovely at Easter, it's not like what you see on TV in the summer. Lots to do in the area and the water park is only 5 minutes drive away and at Easter it wasn't at all busy.
Only thing to watch out for is that there's a large plot of undeveloped land next to the villa so worth checking developments with owner before booking

Fabulous winter break at The Haven
We had a fabulous holiday over Christmas. Ample room for us, our teenage son and our 83 year old father. Gorgeous sun terrace, we enjoyed a few mornings sitting out and my son even went in the pool most days, brrr was a bit too chilly for us.
Loved the Espresso coffee machine, made us feel right at home. Welcome pack was most grateful too when arriving late at 10pm.
A very spacious villa, with enough room to accommodate us all and seating area so we are not all on top of each other. Was lovely and warm in the evenings when the central heating kicked in, was simply home from home :-)
Outdoor areas were maintained to perfection. Rooms were large and spotlessly clean.
We all thoroughly enjoyed our break and would have no hesitation in stopping here again in the future.

Wish we were still there!
We had a lovely time at The Haven. The villa was very clean and tidy and like many others have commented it felt like a home away from home. We were two adults and two children aged 2 and 4. The fact the pool area is gated and has steps into it was great for us, as the kids loved to play around the pool steps. We visited in November so we did have the pool heated which was extra but in line with every villa we have looked at in Cyprus. Plus the pool is much larger than we had anticipated. The outdoor eating and entertaining areas are fantastic and are nicely lit in the evening. Both Roger in the UK and Gavin in Cyprus were extremely helpful which made for a very relaxing stay. Recommend Vassos restaurant in Ayia Napa and McKenzie beach in Larnaka. Would also recommend budget car rental as it is straight outside the airport in Larnaka. Thank you again for a great stay!

Beautiful, light and excellently equipped.
Stunning Villa in a fantastic location. Just far enough away from Ayia Napa to be peaceful and have the option of enjoying the night life and restaurants.
The pool is a fantastic size and perfect for families with young children as the shallow end is only 0.5m with steps leading in. For an additional charge it can also be heated.
There were plenty of sun loungers, parasols and outdoor seating with shaded areas for those wishing to sit out of the direct sun.
The bedrooms and living area are air conditioned. The lounge area has 2 large comfy sofas and a large TV with numerous UK channels.
The 2 bathrooms both have showers and plenty of hot water so no waiting when everybody wants to get ready for going out.
Literally everything you could wish for in a holiday Villa.

Lovely
Another great stay at the haven. Have stayed there several times and it never disappoints. It’s spacious and has everything you’ll need for your stay. I love the area too.
Try flames restaurant in ayia napa it’s great. Also the fish restaurant in potamos and mousikos in sotira, they’re all great meals.

Perfect Villa! We couldn’t have asked for better - We can’t wait to return!
I won’t beat around the bush, we left the villa Saturday (23rd) & we were sad to leave because we absolutely loved our holiday in the Haven & are in the process of deciding a date to return! It had everything you would need to go about day to day life - it really was the perfect home from home (but in sunnier climates!!!). It was cosy, clean, tidy & equipped with everything you would need/use & whatever the villa didn’t have, it was easily accessible via nearby shops.
The outside communal areas were lovely & comfy, we sunbathed every day & managed to used the BBQ a few times too... The pool is perfect - we loved early morning & late afternoon swims & regularly messed about in there throughout the day with the inflatables! (We are 3 extremely big kids!)
The welcome pack was perfect especially as we didn’t get to the villa until gone 9:00pm.
Me & my parter took my mum as it was her birthday & we all wanted a week away to just relax & catch some rays - the villa was perfect for this!
Gavin came the following morning & bought us something for the pool which was great, we took some inflatables with us too, so we were kept very well entertained! (However you can buy any inflatables whilst there).
My own personal preference would be that they supplied kitchen roll in the kitchen & if I was to be really pickey, better hairdryers as the ones in the villa are not that powerful & it took me aaages to dry my hair... These are in no way negative comments about the villa, more just personal preferences that’s all.
The location is perfect & we had a car which gave us lots of freedom. You can get a taxi but we found it easier with a car.
I would like to recommend Potomas Fish resturant - they do amazing traditional foods (traditional English options are available for you less adventurous types!) We also visited Lambros Fish & Chip Shop (By Cessac Beach - Dhekelia Bay) for some traditional English fish & chips - they too were just amazing!
Konnos beach is a great day out, however get there early as it’s gets really busy from about 9:00am. The sea there is beautiful & they have lots of water sports going on & a restaurant for when you get peckish!
Overall our stay was simply perfect & we couldn’t have asked for better in the service we received from the moment we booked the villa to the minute we left. So thank you to Roger & Gavin on making our first Home Away & Cyprus experience a great one!

Fantastic villa in quiet but convenient location
Fantastically furnished and well laid out - a real home from home! Plus, great welcome pack and plenty of towels.
The pool and BBQ area is fantastic and there’s plenty of sunny and shady outdoor seating. In particular, the private terrace off the master bedroom is fabulous with sea views.
Will definitely stay again!

Great autum!
We loved the stay with our 3 kids. Weather was still ok. The house and the pool were great. 3 minute drive to the beach and 5 minutes to the next small shop. A bigger supermarket takes 15 minutes. We can recommend the house!

Perfect holiday.
The villa was spotlessly clean and very well presented. A Welcome pack of a few essentials was also supplied. Very well equiped, in the kichen area. Plenty of hangers in the wardrobes. Easy to follow instructions to set the safe up.........a home from home. The outside area was also well furnished. The pool was regularly checked. Gavin had all the answers for any questions you may have, he was also able to organise your cleaning/laundry needs.
Haven is not far from Agia Napa if you want the night life or Protarus if your looking for a more family feel. Both areas have lots of choice for dining, beaches, shops and supermarkets. I found the local shops best for shopping. Just like anywhere else look around. Doesn't have to be expensive.
A car I would say was a necessary, especially if you intend to travel further ie Troodos, Paphos as we did.
We were celebrating our Golden Anniversary, and had looked at lots of villas before we chose Haven. It was perfect. Roger Blakemore was a pleasure to speak to and very helpful and understanding.
I would go again in a heart beat.

Fantastic villa with beautiful private pool
This was our first holiday in a villa. I cannot say how much we all enjoyed staying in this villa. The owners have thought of everything for your comfort. The pool area is a lovely private area not overlooked by anyone, and the shaded area was welcome with temperatures touching 44 degrees. We hired a car and I have to say this was essential as there is nothing really within 1-2 miles of the villa. This became a little bit tedious having nowhere to walk out to. If I had to give a negative, it would be the walk in steps to the pool, it could have done with a handrail as my parents were a little wobbly going down the steps without having nothing to hold on to. Overall a fantastic holiday in a very peaceful area. Lovely English neighbours. The only reason we didn't give it a 5* is because of the location.

Beautiful villa!!
Stunning villa with everything you need! Owners have thought of everything , great to deal with also! From start to finish it's been stress free.great for families with young children. Taxies with marios to hand! Bus stop 5 min walk, we hired a car for convenience, shops 3-5 min drive but about 35 min walk in the heat to the shop with a young one was to much!! Bus routes will take u to all things you need, shops, beach, agai nappa. For 1.50! They go around every hour! We will be returning! Thank you for allowing us to stay in your villa.. it was lovely! And the weather was perfect ! ☀️

Fab villa
Yet another great stay at the Haven.
We stayed there has my son was getting married in protaras, which isn't far in a car. My sister and family stayed in the Rosara (havens sister villa) which was also a great villa.
The layout is great, it's clean and has everything you need. It really is home from home, you just relax in there straight away.
Gavin who looked after us whilst we were there is brilliant, Nothing is too much trouble and he's there straight away if needed.
We travelled around whist there and spent time in protaras, Ayia Napa, where we had some great meals. We went into paralimni for our shopping but there's a small supermarket down by Aiya thekla beach where you can get almost everything from.
Water park in Ayia napa is good, also the fair where the kids enjoyed theirselves.
Try Demetrion fish bar in potamos, good food and a lovely setting on the beach.
Also Flames and los bandidos in ayia napa serve delicious food.
I would and have recommended these villas to friends and family.

Beautiful Villa
This Villa is so beautiful. It's peaceful and not over looked. It was lovely clean, well looked after. Only a short drive the the local town, which has lots of Shops, Restaurants and bars. The neighbors are lovely and welcoming. The owner Roger is so helpful and happy to answer any questions that you may have. I would highly recommend, we had a wonderful and stay and will definitely be returning.

Fantastic villa, we loved everything about it. The pool area was very private and well kept.
We stayed for a week in October, the villa provided everything we needed. Our children aged 6 and 15 loved the pool. A visit to the local beach is must, good for children. The weather was fantastic we will definitely return.
