Exceptional

Such a wonderful place with an amazing hospitality. I’ve also enjoyed the private safari. That was full of excitement! The room on a tree was pretty clean and the bbq was fantastic. Thank you guys and keep on doing all these things!

Lovely place to stay and staff were super friendly! location is fab too...right beside the park

Overpriced

Tree House was a nice experience with lovely views. The breakfast was excellent. Safari was good we saw a great amount of animals.

Bathroom was dirty, sink was covered in Toothpaste, I had to clean myself. The bbq dinner was a rip off and main sides and meat were served 30 minutes apart. Our guide in the park was hard to understand and didnt seem to understand our questions. Did not sleep well as their 3 dogs barked all night. Tree House wasn't good value for money. At that price it should at least be all inclusive.

Unforgettable experience right next to Yala National Park!

the treehouse and tent are a perfect place to calm down and enjoy nature. the owner was very involved from the moment we booked, making sure we drove the most efficient way and even picked us up when we arrived in a town nearby. they also took us on safari and went above and beyond making sure we saw as much wildlife as possible. also we enjoyed the bbq dinner (prepared by his son) at their place. truly an unforgettable experience which we highly recommend!

Great concept. We appreciated the quiet and natural atmosphere during our stay. The safaris were great, the driver really tries to find animals and knows his job. Very good food and adventurous stay with safari tent or tree house.

bucket list stay.

we stayed in the treehouse and was a completely unique experience. the air con worked the whole night too which we wasn’t expecting. we were offered a BBQ dinner which is pumpkin soup, chicken, roast potatoes, chips, veg and ice cream for 3,000 per person. Of course you don’t have much choice as there is nothing around. However we can’t complain and all food was really nice. Also if you want Beer or any soft drinks when they pick you up you’ll have to buy this then as they don’t have a licence. we also booked a full day safari through Yala dream park which cost 90dollars per person. pre warning it’s a very long day. you start at 5.00am. Enter the park at 6.00am- between 11.30 and 2.00pm you have lunch and rest. Lunch is included in the price which is a curry and fruit which you’ll have next to a lake. You then return to the park until 4.30pm. our driver was really good. we saw a leopard, elephants, deer, crocodiles etc.

do think the site that the treehouse on could offer more. E.g. walk around the grounds, cooking classes anything as there is nothing to do once your there. the site also could do with general maintenance to make it look more appealing as there was rubble in certain parts. a lot of potential.

Comfortable Tent close by the Yala National Parc

very nice tent in the wild - very good safari offered for a very good price, nice BBQ and good breakfast, super friendly owner

exactly the same BBQ chicken twice (second different dish for people who stay for more than one night would be great, vegetarian option would be even better!), flush/water in the toilet was a bit difficult - but overall for the wild tent out in nowhere it is still a very good option if you want to visit the wild and the yala national parc.

relaxing and beautiful

A beautiful place in the middle of nature! We loved our stay here! The staff and owner are very friendly and communicative, telling interesting stories about the wildlife and history of the place. The safari we did was amazing!

Exceptional

The Tree house was amazing !! Nice and wonderful experience ! The location was in a middle of no where only nature around but you feel safe. They organised a pickup to do Safari in Yala Park i highly recommend it !! They really well welcomed us ! Thanks 🙏 The staff was friendly and helpful.

Amazing experience!

This was an amazing experience, great to get away from the city and beaches and just be at one with nature. We did a safari which was very reasonably priced, saw beautiful animals. The BBQ on the first night and Sri Lankan was delicious! I stayed in the tent for night 1 but when I saw the treehouse, fell in love with it and extended my stay. For people who may want to splash out a little, 100% recommend the treehouse with AC and outdoor bathroom! Thanks again to Nandika for the great hospitality.

Great choice if you prefer nature over comfort

Isolated location only accessible by 4WD, dinner was OK, but a bit pricey (remember that location is quite far away from anything) If you enjoy nature - tree house is a great experience !

Water pressure in shower was a bit disappointing Bed is placed in a slight decline to the feet Considering the price - I think it should've been more comfortable

It was a great experience to live far away from civilisation!

The owner was so friendly, the food was really good, it was very close to the national park, so that was pretty convenient for the safari. The safari was organised very well, we saw a lot of animals and I got a lot of information.

Great for safari but too expensive

Yala Dream is a nicely located place with very friendly staff. The safari was absolutely stunning and beautiful. Also the toilet on the treehouse is amazing.

The place itself is very basic and the price (of the treehouse at least) is too high in my opinion. For the almost same price I stayed in a 5 star hotel. For that, you have 0 comfort which is not a problem for a young person like me. In the tree house the bed is at a decline angle and the light is too bright to relax & the AC is directly aimed towards the head.

A very different cultural experience.

Shan & his staff were wonderful. With limited facilities the food was good. We knew that it would be rustic & as an experience it was enjoyable & different! The bed was comfy.

The sink & shower needed attention. The water was not hot - the heater did not appear to work. The shower was refreshing!

Superb

Such a great experience! We slept in the glamping tent. It is just in the middle of nowhere in a positive way! You could hear all the animals at night. People are super friendly and helpfull and the BBQ is great!
