Lakeside International Hotel

The location was great as my husband was playing darts at the lakeside country club. The bed was huge and very comfortable and the shower was good. There were usb plug sockets in the rooms although not next to the bed.

The whole place was very dated and needs a refresh. the shower in the bath although had great power is old and its quite a big step into the bath. No side lights in the room and the only options with the lights were either on or off no mixing. There was a slight draught in the room and on inspection found the window was not fully closed but had some sort of expanding foam in the gaps. We were on the ground floor which overlooked the car park and the windows are not blacked out so you could see in from the outside. The breakfast was not the best quality but was ok. A lot of negatives but for a few nights it was ok.

Everything was great

.

Clean, comfortable and well appointed room. Powerful warm shower, good in room tea & coffee facilities. Delicious breakfast

The room was comfortable and a reasonable size. A basic but comfortable stay.

The bathroom was a bit dated.
