All Seasons Lodge Hotel

The hotel is in a good location, although it states no parking, I was able to park on both nights with no difficulty. My room was a basic one bed, with an en-suite. The bed was clean and comfortable, it was very quiet on both nights. There were others staying but I only heard one other person going in to their room. There was a small television and a kettle with tea/coffee available. The shower cubicle was small but efficient. No breakfast available but that was not a problem. The hotel owner knocked on the door around 9:30am and asked if I needed anything, (I was staying two nights) which I thought was nice.

The kettle needs descaling as it was thick yellow on the pipes inside.

In an ideal scenario I would have loved a small fridge in the room.

It’s a nice simple place, which is all you can expect at such a reasonable price. The gentleman who checked me in and out (I assume the owner) was really lovely and the room had everything you could need for a simple stay.

The cleanliness of the room in general was a little bit lacking which wouldn’t be an issue except that I have a dust mite allergy and was triggered very strongly the first night of my stay to the point I couldn’t sleep. But the bedding and towels were nice and fresh which is always good. There was some small maintenance issues (toilet roll holder broken and held together with a rubber band, toilet flush loose and door stuck quite badly) but nothing was unusable.
