The room was very generous in terms of size, and it actually had a jacuzzi (which also functioned as a shower - a bit weird but worked ok). The breakfast room was very nice and sunny, with a good selection of sweet and savory options. The bed was comfortable and the room is quiet, being away from any busy streets. The hotel is very close to public transport (buses and the suburban railway stop is less than 5 minutes away) despite being in the suburbs of Budapest.
The decor is a bit dated, but overall ok.

Overall, this was a great stay and an exceptional value. Great continental breakfast in a very nice seating area. Room was nice sized with a door dividing the sleeping area from the closets and bathroom which was nice for keeping the room quiet when getting up before the rest of your party. Beds were comfortable. We stayed for the Sziget festival and the train does stop running directly to the stop that takes you within a few minutes walk of the hotel. After a certain time (I'm not sure what the time is because we stayed late at Sziget most nights), the train only goes as far as the stop before so it is a little bit of a longer walk late at night (maybe and extra 6-8 minutes) which we did not mind. Otherwise, the 5 train stops within a 5 minute walk of the hotel. The train will take you right into the heart of the city very easily and runs very frequently during the day. Despite the hotel's close proximity to the train, it was a pretty quiet stay. I always travel with ear plugs though, so I might not be very reliable when it comes to noise. We were there in August and our room was on the 3rd floor. I will say that the only down-side was it was very hot and there is only a fan to cool things down. We were comfortable sleeping at night but the heat kept us out of the room during most of the day. That was fine for us as we were not there to spend time in the room but for people who do like to spend a bit more time in their room, this would be something I recommend considering. If I find myself in Budapest again....and I really hope that I do....I will try to stay here again.
Just hot without a/c. But, we were in Europe in the summer so this was not unexpected.

Easy to find and park. Clean and nice. Very nice place for that amount of money. Staff was polite and nice. Brakfast was more than enough. Perfect for short stays

I liked the breakfast in the morning and also the view and private parking.
In summer the top rooms at least are very hot inside. Would recommend some AC units
