Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Sehr freundliches und kompetentes Personal. Reichhaltiges Frühstücksbuffet. Fahrradgarage vorhanden.

Mit viel Liebe restauriertes Gebäude. Zimmer gut ausgestattet. Nur wenige Minuten zu Fuß ins Centrum von Görlitz oder in den polnischen Teil. Frühstück reichhaltig und gut

Quiet area. But this is not the hotel's achievement, but the city's.
Fell in love with the city.
Strange that parking here is paid when you could just park on the street for free.
Upon check-in, the receptionist double-charged me for the room without saying a word. I only noticed when checking my card balance. She promised a refund within 30 minutes - but 24 hours later, nothing. The next day she wasn't there, just a kitchen staff member who spoke no English. When I called the owner, he claimed he'd processed the refund "just now." Why should I believe him? Yesterday they also said "30 minutes"
We were only staying one night. Check-out time came... still no refund. Had to leave hoping the money would eventually arrive.
With my foreign bank card, it took 2 weeks to get my money back!
No apologies. No compensation offered for their mistake.
Apparently this is normal practice for them. Left a very bad impression.
Other issues:
- No AC in the room
- Only one kettle for two floors (located in the hallway)
- No mini fridge
