Amazing staff; Mirita and Vicky will make sure you feel right at home in your home away from home. I was ill during my stay there and they offered me tea, soups and other foods for free to help me get better :)
This is a rustic homestay with a comfortable bed, a clean shared bathroom with very hot shower, it's dog friendly, there is space for parking a small motorbike or a few bicycles inside, there's a shared kitchen, sale of local coffee and you can get breakfast for an extra fee. The hosts are knowledgeable about the area and things to explore and it's only 10 minutes from the center by TukTuk (4 soles).

We had a wonderful stay at Casa Mirita.
We were welcomed by two lovely sisters who immediately made us feel at home.
The house is very comfortable, fully equipped, and beautifully decorated.
We also received plenty of great tips for visiting the city and the nearby attractions.
Every morning we enjoyed a delicious breakfast with fresh fruits from the market, typical Cajamarca cheese (a must-try!), creamy avocados with fresh bread from the bakery, tea, and excellent coffee. What more could you ask for?
I can only highly recommend this place if you’re visiting Cajamarca!
