The house all together was very nice so was the apartment where we stayed. It was spacious, clean, nicely furnished. There where two well organized bathrooms. One well equiped kitchen with some coffee capsule, tea and some soft drinks offered. There was also a small patio to use with a table and benches.and two sunbeds. Around it different plants and flowers that made the environment very relaxing and charming. Near the house two nice tavernas where to have breakfast and meals. The Vlychos beach few meters away and 10 minutes walking distance plakes beach (for all of them you better have seashoes). Enjoyable the path to/from Hydra village ( 30-40 minutes walk)
We loved the remote position. Far away from the most touristy area. But at the same time it made our short stay more complicated and expensive. It's important to know that there is a little boat that they have told us it runs every hour for 10€/pp rountrip one the same day. Otherwise there is a "taxi" boat service at the price of 30€ each away. But in case of bad weather or strong wind both of them don't run. Unfortunately that was our case the day of our departure snd we had to walk all the way to Hydra with our suitcases. Moreover the day of rain (that of course was esponsibility of nobody ) we have been stuck in the apartment, the tavernas had closed earlier and no shops where to buy any food.
Regarding the house it would help a lot to have some mosquito 🦟 nets and not to be obliged to close all the windows and to use the air-conditioning also when there is a pleasant breeze outside

Locatia este perfecta! Apartamentul e foarte spatios, curat, dotat cu tot ce ai nevoie. Christine a fost forte receptiva si prompta in raspunsuri, sugestii si informatii. Terasa e de vis! Recomandam cu caldura!

About 30-40 minutes walk from the port via a nice traditional stone-paved path with scenic views to the sea and the sunset. Also safe to go back home in the night, nothing to worry about. Be ready to enjoy the starry sky and the sound of the sea!
Normally 10:00-19:00 there is a small local boat connecting Vlichos to the port.
