Der Gastgeber hat uns sehr herzlich in sein Haus aufgenommen. Absolut überragend war seine Kochkünste, die uns die besten Abendessen auf unserer 4 wöchigen Reise beschwert haben. Wer sehr gutes Essen zu schätzen weiß, ist bei diesem überaus herzlichen Gastgeber hervorragend aufgehoben.
Es gab leider keine Kartenzahlung. Das war sehr Schade, da wir am letzten Tag erst das Geld überwiesen haben und das argentinische Bankensystem wenig vertrauen seiner Kunden genießt.

Where to start…. When you have been traveling alone for so long, you meet this amazing family and all of a sudden things just start to feel like home again. Whether it be the little kitten who want to sleep on your lap while you read a book with a bottle of wine, or skipping rocks at the lake with their very respectful son. Ariel, is easily one of the best chefs in Argentina and does everything on your schedule. We shared a few glasses of wine together. But when you want your own space, there is no pressure, it was fantastic. Something I’ve never done before in my 18 years of travelling alone, and it opened my eyes. The food Ariel cooks is like a Michelin star restaurant, but bring your appetite. It’s a lot of food. The cozy cabin feeling and the comfort of your own room with its own washroom make it the perfect place to just relax. I’ve been all over the world and usually like the “high end” accommodations, but this was something special.

Our stay was amazing. Ariel and his family are amazing and super friendly and welcoming.
The lodge itself is very beautiful as well. We felt straight at home and were treated like royals.
Furthermore, Ariel is a professional cook. So it’s possible to have a 5 course dinner in the evening, exclusively prepared for his clients (only 3 rooms). The food is AMAZING, so if you’re there, you don’t want to miss it!!!
There’s nothing not to like! Only just a tip for foreign tourists: make sure you bring enough cash to pay the accommodation as there’s no possibility to directly pay by card. So you’ll also have to include and pay the taxes, this not clear on the booking website.
