A éviter si vous voulez dormir au calme !!

Propre, personnel sympa et lit confortable

Nous avons séjourné un samedi soir. Notre chambre était littéralement situe dans la bar, derrière une porte cachée. Le bruit était HORRIBLE et ce, jusqu’à 2h du matin. Vous devez traverser le bar pour aller au toilettes, ou prendre une douche et tous les clients, bourrés vous accostent. C’était vraiment terrible. Nous avons rien dormi ! Je n’ai pas l’habitude de laisser des commentaires mais la Je ne recommande vraiment pas du tout…

Fantastic value for money

Surprisingly quiet even though there’s a bar downstairs. Serves decent pizza. Room is great for such a bargain price, toiletries provided and water. AC too! Nice places to hang.

Call to prayer was extra loud. Think it’s just outside the property? No sleeping after 5am. Ok for me since I had to be up early anyway.

A nice comfy own room with an AC unit. Spent couple nights there. Good value in Padang. A nice bar.

Spent first night on a room facing the road, and the bat noises that they play (as an advertisement from 6am-6pm) were loud and irritating as hell. Woke me up once. Moved to another side and it didn't disturb me anymore. Bathrooms also could need an update.

Very loud music

The staff are very friendly and accommodating. The girl working there was wonderful and recommended a nice place to go for dinner and helped move us to a quieter room when the music was blasting. It’s a nice atmosphere if you want to socialise and have a few drinks. There was someone singing live music the night we arrived and she was really good! Just be aware - they turn up the music very loud on a Saturday night so I’d advise avoiding this place unless you want to have an all-nighter

The music was super loud. It felt like an earthquake in the room. It was impossible to sleep. My partner and I had to wear earphones with meditation music all night just to sleep. It was not advertised that they would have such loud music and they said they would have “light” music when we got there. If you want to rest, do not stay here, especially on a Saturday night.

good stay with breakfast, room with ac. if you have a room upstairs, it is good with the bar downstairs as you are two stories away. the staff is really helpful.

no kitchen to cook, but the bar restaurant has good prices. some useful info would have been nice like the app Maxxim for rides (and Grab and Gojek, which are essential to get around in Indonesia), if you don't have a scooter yourself or want to get to the airport off train hours.

Unique location, good food, proper selection of beers, friendly staff

rooms are noisy. the room in the 1st floor is surrounded by kitchen, pool table and the street.

Very good

Great staff. Easy to rent a motorbike with them and helped me to book my bus ticket. I had a good time.

The location wasn't great. When I left in the evening, some guys were always shouting aggressively to me. Not the fault of the hotel though

Disappointing

Nice to have Beer (Big Bintang) BUT not good to sleep! Breakfast (only western) but good.

I'm have to say I was super tired from travel already but I was not able to get a good sleep because: Moskitos! Window always open (please fix) and kinda noise until 1pm and from 5am. No Moskito protection (net) AC / Fan broken (please fix) Bathroom smell (upstais) And Im sorry for the fish in the bathroom (downstairs). Please free him!

Best avoid if you’re sensitive with noise!

Located in the Chinese quarter of Padang, alongside a river (unfortunately extremely dirty and polluted). Friendly staff.

It’s not only a hotel but also a bar with loud music every evening until 12.p.m and life bands on the weekends. It would be fair to mention it in the hotel description! Wifi was extremely weak and unstable on the 4th floor where most rooms are located.

Awesome building and bar, bit too noisy

Very cool place specially to listen to local rock bands playing in an awesome restored decadent building. We got the "family room", which was big and nice enough, though not the cleanest and most comfortable place we've slept in. Very friendly stuff. Perfect for young rock lovers looking to have some fun, and conveniently near the Mentawai Fast harbour, but maybe not the right choice for those who favor peacefulness and comfort.

Only problem is, on weekends, when live music is being played until late hours, it's too noisy. Not the most clean and comfortable place, but good enough for local standards.

good for foreigners

i think we feel like it is good for our privacy and the place is good for foreigners!

I don’t like room’s curtains because when it is arrived morning around 6AM, the sunlight and daylight enters the room and we couldn’t sleep anymore due to daylight. I recommend you to change thick curtains that sunlight and daylight can not enter easily for the rooms with Glass-walls!

Exceptional

The staff was so gently and friendly. It's a beautiful building where every night you can enjoy with other foreigners listening some music. The food it's so good, with local and european food options in a reasonable price. The room was so clean with a confortable bed. Amazing place where stay in Padang.
