First of all, I would like to thank Cheikh Fall, a genuinely kind, welcoming and incredibly helpful person. Whether it is something related to the residence or simply a request for assistance, you can contact him and he will always do his best to help without hesitation. That alone is something truly priceless.
As for the residence itself, at first sight, its location may seem a little intimidating, as it is situated in a popular residential neighborhood, with a mechanic workshop right in front of the building. However, my initial concerns quickly disappeared as the days went by.
The location turned out to be quite convenient. It is close to the main road, making it easy to find a taxi, and there are plenty of local shops, bakeries and small businesses nearby. In other words, you will find almost everything you need within a short distance.
The bed is comfortable, the air conditioning works very well, and there is a refrigerator in the room. The bathroom is also equipped with hot water, which is certainly appreciated after a long day in Dakar.
Overall, I would recommend Cheikh Fall Residence to anyone looking for a simple and practical place to stay in Dakar. Beyond the accommodation itself, staying there gives you the opportunity to experience the kindness of the people of Dakar and, more broadly, the legendary hospitality of the Senegalese people.

That said, there are a few small but important details that could easily be improved. Unfortunately, Cheikh Fall seems to have overlooked some basic amenities that do not cost much but make a real difference for guests, such as toilet paper, soap and shampoo
