Once you get the hang of it it is easy to navigate and although there were no staff at check-in the e-mail with details of how to get in worked well. Room was a bit sparse but clean and comfortable. We hadn’t booked or expected breakfast but it was available. Location (a little side street off the market square) is good: St Florian is a lovely peaceful town and the monastery is magnificent.
For the price some coffee making facilities would have been good. We had to ask another customer for the wi-if code as that didn’t seem to be anywhere obvious in the room. Not obvious how to access the free private parking despite the website saying it is available and all the spaces in the market square nearby were taken (Sunday afternoon) so we parked up the hill, round the corner from the monastery - lots of places and free as far as we could tell.
