Hotel Spectra is a charming and welcoming place in the heart of Sultanahmet. The location is exceptional — right next to the Hippodrome, with Hagia Sophia, the Blue Mosque, and the Basilica Cistern only a few minutes’ walk away. It’s perfect for exploring Istanbul’s historical center without needing public transport.
The rooms are clean, comfortable, and well maintained. Although not very large, they offer everything needed for a pleasant stay, including good beds, daily cleaning, and a quiet atmosphere despite the central area.
The breakfast is simple but tasty, served in a cozy dining area with a lovely view over the square. Fresh bread, cheese, olives, eggs, and tea provide a good start to the day, and the staff is attentive and friendly.
Overall, Hotel Spectra offers great value thanks to its unbeatable location, warm hospitality, and comfortable rooms — an excellent choice for a stay in Sultanahmet.
There was nothing to dislike. Everything was pleasant and well organized.

Yasin was very friendly and chirpy chap. Very understanding, helped us with bookings etc. Excellent location. Rooms cleaned throughly. Most friendly staff from cleaning lady to kitchen staff and reception. Very happy with Yasins service. Also upgraded our room we stayed three nights in economy room and then flew out to the south and then back again I asked if we could switch to the other side of the floor when we returned they said they had upgraded us for the night. This is the fourth time ive stayed at hotel spectra. Each time ive had outstanding service

WE HAD SOME TAXI PROBLEMS ON THE HOTEL WAY. WHEN THEY KNEW IT, THEY MADE US A LOVELY GESTURE AND GIVE US WIDE FAMILY ROOM DESPITE WE PAID FOR ECONOMIC ROOM. THE ROOM WAS VERY CLEAN AND NECESSARY FACILITIES.THE STAFF WAS LOVELY AND VERY HELPFUL. WE WERE TREATED VERY GENTLY AND RESPECTFUL. WE REALLY FELT THAT, WE ARE TWO COUNTRIES BUT ONE NATION. THE LOCATION ALSO WAS PERFECT JUST BY THE SULTANAHMED MOSQUE AND NEAR THE TRAM STATION. THANK YOU REALLY FOR EVERYTHING🙌😊
