There are many different spaces in Seagate Beach Retreat to experience. Many people who have experienced this space find it inspiring and very relaxing. This building is one of a kind and was very much ahead of its time when first constructed in the 80's. The neighbors when first experiencing the structure were amazed that anyone would have designed such a building for its day. Today to build such a building would be seen as impracticable and expensive. However, leaving an appreciation for art for the next generation was more important to Darrell Jane than anything else, after all he was an Art Teacher at Rockingham Senior High School.
