Accessibility as we were traveling south. Security. Restaurant on premises - food is quite good - but we miss the evening buffet. Refrigerator in room - need to plug in first.
We have been staying at Hotel San Martin for 28 years when heading south and upon our return north. This time we really noticed how run-down the rooms have become (air-conditioning units duct taped together, unstable furniture, missing chairs, etc.).. Bedding was stained and had to be replaced. Asked for an extra hand/face towel so we didn't have to share (only leave one), and housekeeping was defiant. Same with only 1 bottle of water for 2 people............

The personal on the office was a bit serious, on the check in time, never smiled or welcoming.
"I am writing to clear up an issue with our room amenities. We booked for 2 adults and 2 children, but the room only has 2 towels. Front desk staff informed me that we need to pay a deposit for 2 more. Since we paid for a 4-guest occupancy, 4 towels should be included. Please have the additional towels sent up to our room as soon as possible."
